#flexfriday goes to the cheek muscles today and what I want to do for 2019!! Setting PR's in the gym for myself and my clients is still going to happen.
But for me putting smiles on faces is much more rewarding. Although the two do go hand in hand and I've never seen someone not smile after a PR!
I specifically want to show you that working out can be fun and not the dreaded task you have associated it to be for all these years.
One of the big keys is how you start! Anyone can throw you into a crowded class to make you sweat and feel sore.
At AST we have small enough groups to make sure you progress at the rate appropriate for you. You will also make friends that will support you on the way. And yes we work hard but we joke around just as hard!
A side goal for me for 2019 is to make as many strangers laugh and smile as I can.

Last night I took both of these pics after I ate a HUGE bowl of salty Chinese hot pot 😍 -
SO, needless to say, I was retaining a lot of salt and was extremely bloated but I still pushed myself to get a good workout in🏋🏼♂️🏋🏼♂️
In fact getting up and doing exercise actually reduces bloating!!!😵😵
I just wanted to post these pictures side by side to express that there are several factors regarding posts on social media such as posture, camera quality, LIGHTING, and of course what state their body is in. 🐵🙈
I still to this day have a lot of body image issues, but I tell myself that everyone is at a different stage in their life, and every body is beautiful 😍😍😍
A saying that has always stuck with me is;
- “it takes all different kinds of people to make the world go around” 🌍🌏🌎
Remember this saying the next time you feel upset, awkward, or annoyed about the state your body is in.
FINALLY you SHOULD NOT feel these things because EVERY body is beautiful 😍

We 20 years young today
Until about a year and a half ago, I was afraid to be who I was.
I wanted to fit in. I wanted everyone to like me.
But then I found MYSELF. I spent time with myself. I was alone with myself.
I discovered who I am, what I want, and developed an unwavering sense of confidence in myself and my abilities.
I met some of my best friends, went all over the country, did things that I never thought that I would do at my age. But lemme tell ya, we’re just getting started.
