I've always had an extra passionate heart but have found myself lost in the pursuit of where to put that passion.
Some people have a dream to do something very early on. I wasn't one of those people. I felt like everything was a misfit for me. I went to business school and all of it felt so ingenuine and it wasn't a match for me.
I tried to pursue college in hopes that what was meant for me would come to me. That didn't happen either. They say every dream comes from what your heart wishes and I have to say that's true. Why hasn't this occurred to me before?
All good things take time. I now have a dream that I want to pursue and not to be intentionally vague, but they also say not to tell people your dreams, show them.
I can't wait to show you all. ❤️

Delish TIP: Warm the bloobs for 20 seconds!! ✨😍 I’ve noticed that some days the shake doesn’t keep me as filled as long as I would like, so on longer days I like mixing the protein powder with nonfat Greek yogurt to keep me full L O N G E R!!🙃

A recovery story is a messy thing.
I remember often lying in bed, tears streaming down my face, sobbing into my pillow. Sometimes I didn’t even have the energy to cry, only to lie there feeling helpless. I didn’t know what my purpose in life was or who I was anymore.
I’ve stopped working out, eating healthy and taking care of myself meant nothing to me. I was struggling with severe anxiety and depression for 2 years.
I didn’t think it was ever possible for me to overcome this, and I can assure you that no one was able to help me but myself.
I woke up one day sick and tired of the meaningless life I was living and I decided to make a change. That’s when my yoga practice and I became one.
I fell in love with yoga because it guides me to recognize my power.
When I choose to recognize my power - my brain, my body and my spirit taste and feel like a oneness.
I don’t feel insecure or afraid, I feel whole.
I chose to eat more vegetables and fruits instead. Each day I tracked my meals and exercise. I didn’t see it as a diet. Rather, I was changing my lifestyle and habits. The healthier I became, the more my strength and motivation rose, and I soon discovered I had potential for even more.
Taking on new fitness challenges and staying healthy has given me self-assurance. The experience of a painful phase taught me that suffering can make us stronger — and that I can overcome anything. I’m grateful for my amazing support system, which has been instrumental in keeping me out of the black hole.
I beat the darkness through faith, healthy eating, yoga, and weights. I just keep on lifting them.
Some iced tea lemon bcaas and a side of tricep 🤫 @womensbest
Here are a few workouts I do on my arm day! Arm day is kind of boring because it’s just different variations of the same workout ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .
1st clip: Tricep Push-downs!
I tend to pause a little at the eccentric point, and slowly release.
2nd clip: Tricep extension! Basically the same as the first, but a different variation.
3rd clip: Cable curls
I always throw in a few different types of each workout.
I try to use dumbbells, cables, barbells, and bodyweight exercises for arms
