I think I’m definitely progressing physically, but emotionally, I’ve noticed my strength is decreasing significantly. I almost cried on the treadmill watching “The Price is Right”. A GAME SHOW ALMOST BROKE ME. The WWII Veteran and Plinko boy really tugged at my heart strings. What I’m saying is that I may be able to tackle 9 miles on the treadmill, followed by an hour of hot yoga, but the pure bliss of a game show contestant winning will be the root of my demise. In a way, I think my sweat was just my body crying, because it knew I couldn’t be the hysterical girl on the treadmill, sobbing over a showcase showdown. •

I should say had. Had been using. Used to use. For today, on September 6th 2018, the watch finally died. It had been showing some signs of stress for a while now. Sometimes it would not charge, and I would spend a long time attaching the charging clamps again and again until it would finally accept them. Sometimes it froze, or some buttons stopped working. Sometimes it made weird sounds.
So I was mentally prepared for what happened today: I went swimming with it (it was waterproof, and I, just like any other 10-year-old, absolutely loved taking waterproof objects into the water just because I could), and then it made a weird hissing sound, showed some water inside, and died...
