I desperately need to workout... Not because I need to lose weight or because I want abs. These things are nice and all and I know that I’ll get there eventually but you know what I want more? Peace, sanity, and happiness. And running or doing my daily workouts provide all of the above.

I can’t think of a better way to start Thanksgiving than running a fun half marathon! 🏃🏼♀️🦃❤️13.1 miles to meditate on all of the many, many things I have to be thankful for. It was a little colder and windier than I like, but luckily the rain held off until the race finished! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 It was also so special that my whole family came and joined me at the finish ❤️ Happy Thanksgiving to my friends that are celebrating today! I am thankful for all of you that inspire me daily!

Another 3 mile run and some pushups and planks before heading up to see family and celebrate Christmas Eve together! ❤️🎄 I hope those of you that are celebrating have a very Merry Christmas!! I know this time of year can be hard for some and my heart goes out to anyone that may be feeling down or hurt! You are loved! ❤️❤️
I had a special cycling companion on my quick two mile run today 😉👧🏼❤️ My two oldest have been gone a lot this week, so without any babysitters around this girl has been my shadow a lot! Even though it slows me down a bit, I love hanging out with my favorite girl! 💞
Happy to get 5 miles before we head out on a camping trip this weekend! 🏃🏼♀️🏕 I had a scary experience with a dog that certainly brought my heart rate up: I was running down a road that I normally don’t run. When I went past a house, a large dog darted out and started chasing me. I immediately turned around and slowed to a walk, trying to talk in a soothing voice to the dog (did I do the exact wrong thing?? I have no idea! 😂) Anyway, this dog was not letting up, growling and snapping at my ankles for about 50 yards. Very luckily, he never sank his teeth in, but I was scared- and annoyed! I get that he was just doing what he thinks he is supposed to do (protect his house), but c’mon people, don’t leave your big watchdog unsupervised and able to roam free! 😒 A dog attack has always been something that worries me, and now I will be even more aware! 👀 Happy Friday, friends! I hope you have a wonderful start to your weekend! 🎉

Trying to find some zen as I welcome in November! 🙏🏼❤️🦃🍁 I tried out another short 3 mile run, and my neck felt pretty good! 🙌🏼 I have a packed day as I get things ready to leave for NYC this afternoon. I am visiting my little brother and sister-in-law and some other family members are coming as well! We have 4 Broadway shows packed into this weekend, as well as shopping, touristing, and just laughing and having a good time together. I can’t wait! 🤗 When I booked this trip, I had no idea it was also the NYC Marathon so I’m very excited to congratulate every runner I see! That race is definitely on my bucket list! 🏃🏼♀️Happy Thursday, friends! 💙
