Thank you for all the birthday love! I had the best day ever! My parents flew in and surprised me with bringing my nephew (thanks for sharing him Nicole!). We then took them to see Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood, and out for lunch with some of my best friends David and Olivia Blair. It truly doesn't get much better than this!
PS....remember my birthday present of 10% off retail OR a gift set of freebies if you get a wholesale account with doterra goes on through next Friday!!
My name is Cooper. I am a 13 year old Chihuahua Dachshund mix. I love warm sunny days, running on the beach, chasing squirrels, riding in the car, and burrowing under blankets. I love food more than anything else. I had a nice sister cat who passed away last year. I miss stealing her food. I was the only dog up until a few days ago when Miles came around. I like him okay enough.
Flashback Friday to that time we thought we’d try to boondock and go off the grid for five days, were stalked by grey wolves, made friends with an enormous red rock we named Crouching Tiger & sat by the campfire, while the coyotes howled, the owls past overhead and the stars shined their own little melody... yup, that time was the best time!

Just a regular old feline with good hygiene....I need me one of these for the trailer.....🤔😁.
Wowser bowser that workout was insane!
Notice I didn’t say hard?
Do you know what is hard?
Watching someone you love live with a disease that is destroying their quality of life.
Watching that same person continue to do something that they shouldn’t and it is making them worse.
Watching this person slowly slip away from you. This is life I know that. But it’s still hard!
Making the decision to do what is best for me? To help me be my best self? That is NOT hard! Is it challenging? Sure! Is it worth it? HELL YES!
Are you going to make you a priority this year? If so, I’m looking for you! Let’s join forces and do this together ❤️. Send me a message if you want more info.

It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. The ability to triumph begins with you. Always. 👊🏻

The moment they met. Cooper has been the only dog in our household for 13 years. We chose to get a puppy due to Cooper's possessive behaviors with other adult dogs. The moment Cooper met Miles, he was in love! He has been so patient and gentle with his new buddy ❤
Say hello to Miles! He is the newest member to our family. He is 14 weeks old and is obsessed with his new best friend Cooper. Cooper has always been weird about having new dogs in his home, but he surprisingly has been really welcoming towards Miles. 💓
Do you ever want to just get away from everyone and everything? We do, pretty often. 😁 Sometimes we're okay with being in a city, for a short time, like right now in Las Vegas, because of the beauty and climbing all around. But it's so nice to get away, off the grid, and just be. Be in nature. Be silent. Be still. Be together. With no distractions, noises, opportunities even. I'm feeling that pull right now. Maybe it's just hitch itch since we've been here for a few months. But I'm thinking our next campsite needs to be off grid. Just for a week, I like my electric, unlimited water, and the hot tub. 😁 I'm not about nature 100% of the time, I like my amenities. This is one of our favorite off grid sites, above Buena Vista CO on public land. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you ever go off grid? For an hour, a weekend, a week?
Happy FriYay y’all! Headed back to Texas... Really enjoyed the blue skies & sunny days in the Land of Enchantment. Thanks Rui! Also appreciated our cozy Pinecone Cabin. Our nomadic life plans are shifting right before our eyes. It’s amazing to let go and trust. To be continued... Peace, from the Zen Den crew
What is your nightly routine?
I’m way better at working on my night time routine than a morning routine. The last half hour before bed is where I spend time reflecting on the day, checking in with my ladies, and snuggling the fur babies. .
Im drinking all the tea today to fight this cold and thinking about how we’ll be moving back home in 2 weeks! Enjoying our last two weeks of chilly Florida weather before we trade it in for New York freezing!

There’s been a few cold fronts coming in but we’ve been able to sneak in a few (heated) pool days 💦 The nice thing about cold weather is we don’t feel as much pressure to be out exploring. We’ve been able to tackle some of our trailer to-do list and do some reorganizing. This week I found a toddler story time at the local library, bought musical instruments to start incorporating music daily for Evelyn, found some great playgrounds and of course- Tampa’s Children’s Museum!! I’m looking forward to some laid back family time with a few trips to local breweries and cigar stores to appease Tim. #compromise
Dave and I have been hanging out with a bunch of awesome people in Quartzsite, AZ. There are all kinds of various groups spread out and gathering all around Quartzsite. Over 150,000 RVers travel here from all over the country for the big RV Show each January. The group we are in all have the same make and model of our RV (Safari Treks). Safari Treks have unique airbrushed murals on the back and some have hidden animals in the paintings. We walked around each of the Safari Treks trying to find the hidden animals and “oooing and ahhhing” at all the beautiful paintings; my favorite being a herd of elephants. Each night we circle a campfire and socialize. The seminars start tomorrow and the big 1,000 foot long RV tent in town opens on the 19th which will have tons of vendors selling all kinds of RV gadgets, solar systems, and anything and everything RV related. This has been quite the experience!
It has been a while since we’ve posted pics of the inside of our bus. Since we’ve hit the road, we’ve added a @tinywoodstove and 1200 watts of solar. Both additions have been game changers to our off-grid lifestyle. DM us if you’re looking for a wood burning stove. We may be able to offer you a discount. 😉
Swipe for before! 🎆 2018 was the year of transformation and transition for us — now onto a year of adventures!
Edit — This kitchen is small but mighty. We cook 90% of our meals here. We rebuilt the entire kitchen with a specific design for each inch of cabinetry of storage space accounted for. In this kitchen we can fit: a Vitamix, an air fryer, an Instant Pot, a full set of pots and pans, a large Cuinsinart Processor, a pull out trash bin, baking supplies, a set of Pyrex glass storage containers, and more utinsels than we need. There is much more stored in this tiny kitchen — it’s all about good design and intention. #livingtinyproject
