The boyfriend and I have been having fondue nights lately. He had never had a fondue and growing up it was always a special dinner when my mom and I would fondue. I loved it growing up and still do. The boyfriend is now a big fan as well so I look forward to trying recipes from a fondue book my mom gave me a few years back. #fondue#fonduenight#steak#chicken#shrimp#cheese#mushroom#dinner
A dog and a meat slicer. Look at that tail, he’s never so attentive & alert as he is when the meat slicer or the meat grinder is running! He’s definitely hoping a piece will *accidentally* fall on the ground so he can snap it up lickety split!
This time the meat slicer was run for some beautiful deer and moose steaks. We used the thin-sliced meat in a traditional French Canadian fondue. I never had fondue with meat before I met my guy. I’m so glad I’ve been introduced to this delicious tradition! 😋

We survived the Grate Fondue Disaster if 2019 🍢🧀 Step 1: Have no fondue pot or cheese grater Step 2: More wine is always better right? 🍷(who needs to measure) Step 3: Make a dish resembling bubble gum and soup Step 4: Add more cornstarch—once again measuring is for losers just pour in...like half a can (remove any extra possible with a spoon) Step 5: Google remedies and fail adding more cheese Step 6:Cry in the bathroom Step 7: Be coaxed out of the bathroom by your boyfriend who saved the day by turning up the heat “go fast and commit” @787bravo
Step 8: Stuff your faces with cheese 🧀🧀 😍 #coupleschallenge#fondue#cookingdisasteraverted#coupleswhocooktogether
Juicy chicken wings with cheese OMG!🧀🍗
Spicy Wings: 6 Chicken Wings, 2 Tbsp Sugar, 2 Tbsp Corn Syrup, 3 Tbsp Red Pepper Powder, 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce, 1 Tbsp Ground Onion, 2 Tbsp Hot Sauce, 2 Tbsp Red Pepper Paste, Pepper, 9 Tbsp Mirin
Cheese Fondue: 75ml Milk, 100g Mozzarella Cheese, 1 Slice Sliced Cheese, 3 Tbsp Starch Water
1. Add 6 Tbsp of Mirin to 6 chicken wings. Marinate for 20 minutes.
Mirin contains 14% of alcohol which will get rid of meat smell. Natural amino acid will make the meat tender.
2. Mix 2 Tbsp sugar, 2 Tbsp corn syrup, 3 Tbsp red pepper powder, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp ground onion, 2 Tbsp hot sauce, 2 Tbsp red pepper paste, bit of pepper and 3 Tbsp of Mirin to make seasoning.
Add savoriness to your seasoning by adding Mirin to the mix. It will also help the seasoning to soak into the ingredients.
3. Boil 75ml milk, 100g mozzarella cheese and a slice of sliced cheese.
When the milk starts to boil, add 3 Tbsp starch water and boil a little longer.
4. Heat the pan and cook each side of chicken wing. (Press it with a tong so the meat could be cooked thoroughly.)
5. Spread seasoning on chicken wings and let it cook. .
