So, this is obviously terrible. 😜 But, that's okay for two reasons! First, this is my first attempt at any kind of embroidery. Second, it's a learning experience and that's always a good thing!
And I did happen to notice that I did make some progress just on this pattern alone the more I worked on it, so that was neat and exciting.
I'm definitely going to keep this because one day in the future, after I've been doing this for awhile and am much better at it (hopefully), I'll be able to look back on where I started and see how far I've come. 😊
I bought the pattern and the hoop at Walmart. I think the pattern was on sale for $3, and the hoop was $1. The pattern is stamped and 6 inches. It came with a needle, the necessary embroidery floss, instructions, and the stamped denim-colored cloth.
Pattern kit from Plaid Bucilla Stamped Embroidery, and the packaging says the pattern was Inspired By Handmade Charlotte.
The cloth is 50/50 cotton and polyester, colored to look like denim.
Pattern name: Arrows. Copyrighted 2016.
I found this to be really fun, but also super relaxing, and it's definitely something I'm going to keep up with. 😄 #handembroidery#embroidery#beginnerembroiderer#followyourheart
