Fiddle leaf fig growth in less than a year. 2nd pic taken May 22, 2018, first taken today, March 23, 2019. I never measured it when I first bought her but she’s at least grown a few feet, now I have to stand on my tippy toes to reach the top.
Care: she sits in the corner of the east facing plant porch that gets shaded morning sun (shaded by overgrown jasmine that’s taken over the trellis roof of the porch). I water her once a week with filtered hose water (filter connects to the hose- purchased from amazon). And if I’m not lazy, I add fiddle leaf fig plant food to the water- also purchased from amazon. Each branch puts out a new leaf about once a week, sometimes a few at a time. You can see she’s leaning towards the sun but I know if I move her outside the porch her leaves will burn, so for now she’s staying here.
