Exactly two years apart both at the Redken Symposium in Vegas. I actually gained an additional 20lbs after the before photo was taken. To say I had a much better time this go around would be an understatement. Walking around was so much easier, outfit picking out was a breeze. I’m retaining less water. Basically everything was easier.

Tuesday training... Because I like a good challenge (and because I had a short window between students tonight), I used a favorite jam to set the rhythm and time frame for a long cycle: Swing | Snatch | Switch | Repeat. This tune runs just under 8mins, so I’ll spare y’all a super long vid sequence and just share a bit from the first and last minute (swipe). I told myself I wasn’t putting the bell down until the song finished... I had to take a couple pauses toward the end, buuuut mission accomplished. 😅 Music makes my world go round...so do KBs (obviously!). #tryit

Y’all... of all lifts I have cleared as of late I am MOST proud of this one 😭 I have dreamed of finally getting to throw a 35lb plate on each side and I finally did!! For two!! ✌🏼😱 Getting so close to my lifetime goal of 135lb so I can see that sweet sweet plate on there.
The reason why this bench was so special was because I failed this last week. I had 115x2 prescribed and had to ask somebody for a spot just in case. I explicitly explained to not touch the bar unless it drops and whatnot but sure enough when I went into my set... he was practically lifting it through both reps. It felt TOO easy. So I thought I’d take ample rest and tackle it on my own but I couldn’t even get half a rep and had to rack it on the lowest hook 😔
So this week I decided to shift my timing a bit so Kyle could spot me and I got it!!!! Without even needing a spot 😅 maybe it’s his presence haha. But I felt so redeemed hence my excitement lmao. Even though the first rep pause was a bit rushed, I’m finally feeling more confident with my bench. Fucking finally 🤪
☀️ A fun little finisher for chest day. Imagine pushing into the floor so hard that it splits apart, allowing you to lower your torso. Keep your core tight, then bring the bars back together by squeezing your chest together. Super-set it with some alternating push ups on a medicine ball...feel and enjoy the burn!!

🤗 texture: these cookies are a chocolate base with chocolate chips throughout and sprinkles on top 🤩 I do think this flavor is a bit more soft and airy than their other flavors, which is interesting 🧐 I did like it though! Just seemed a bit different than the usual LL cookies
😛 taste: so I was definitely skeptical on if this flavor would just taste like their double chocolate cookie....and I think they taste very similar to that flavor. It's hard to translate "donut" flavor into anything other than a donut and this flavor proved that. I liked this flavor, but I think it's very similar to that double chocolate one. The double chocolate one is a bit fake tasting, but I do think this flavor is a bit more fresh tasting (but maybe bc it was a more fresh cookie, idk)
🤔 would you do it again? Yeah, I definitely liked this flavor, but it's nothing crazy. I really do like @lennyandlarrys cookies, so I think it's like a 7 or 8 out of 10 👍🏻

I think one of the biggest misconceptions people have about exercise is that you have to do HEAPS for it to make any difference. This is certainly not true. You can get stronger, fitter, improved mental health and more toned with only 3 -4 short workouts a week. Our workout changes daily! Muscles stay confused as to what's coming the next day. BUT, that's not the BEST part! Every day, one of our rounds is labeled as FREESTYLE. Meaning, for a Whole 3-minutes, you, as a member, get your very own personal training session with one or BOTH of the trainers working that shift. With exercise evolving daily, you never know what the trainer will throw at you. Or if you have a specific area you'd like the work on, the trainers got you covered with their extensive knowledge on exercise backgrounds.
This is why our members keep showing up! I mean, Paula (young lady on round 3) came on her birthday two Saturdays ago 🤯

I’ve gone to the gym 6 days last week and on my way to my second day of six! And that’s huge accomplishment in itself because I have every reason to use the time I have off to nap because who gets 7 hours of sleep anymore ! honestly that’s over rated anyways 💁🏼♀️• This also shows me how determined I am to reach my goals I set out for myself. I hope to be a better version of myself for my son, I want to show him no matter what obstacles may be in your way anything is possible! 💪🏼 •

Triple threat transformation 💥😜 For this #transformationtuesday I wanted to show a little more of the in-between! This entire journey has been all about PROGRESS. Being a 25 year old girl, I’m so stoked that I can finally rock a sparkly lil outfit (in a size SMALL!?🤯) with a pair of high heels!! When I was heavier I was good at pretending like I was having fun when I was out with my girls but truly I was so uncomfortable and always filled my head with thoughts like “you’re just the fat friend”, “you’re the big one”, or “wow I’m DEFINITELY not posting that pic! I look huge!”.... I struggled with self hate so deeply that I now feel like I wasted so much of my life being so unhappy. So many of you guys reach out to me and I know you’re in the same position and struggling with depression alongside of it all. I just want to remind you all how beautiful you are. Beauty can be found in everyone and everything. It’s hard to believe that about yourself! (I STILL struggle with it!) If you’re struggling like I was, I just want to encourage you to DO something about it. Start off with setting small goals for yourself even if it’s just drinking more water in the day or walking for 20 minutes every night. When you work on yourself I promise you will feel better about yourself! Get up and be proactive. Do things that will make you feel happy. If you’re someone also considering bariatric surgery, don’t let anyone tell you “it’s the easy way out”. Losing weight is hard PERIOD. And it’s okay to utilize different “tools”, wether that be weight loss surgery, weight watchers, or a Keto diet. These are all weight loss tools and it’s about finding what works for you! Don’t waste your life being so unhappy like I was. over the past 48 hours, a lot of people have been telling me that they want to achieve a fat loss, physique, and/or business goal BUT, they don’t have enough time to do it right now 😑
hold UP🤚🏻 did you know that there are 24 hours in a day? let’s break this down with my life for example:
💤 midnight to 5am.
🐶 take care of dogs, journal, and get ready for day 5-6am
💻 grind 6-3pm
🏋🏻♀️ gym 3-4pm
🚿 shake, dogs, shower 4-5pm
💻 more grinding 5-7pm
🍽 dinner 7-730pm
💻 grinding again 730-9pm
🖤family time 9-10pm
💤 sleep 10-12pm
for you busy mom’s, swap out the dog time for them. heck, even swap out my gym time for them. and what about those that work crazy 12 hour shifts? hit the gym instead of your “TV” time.
whatever your day breaks out to be, you CAN find the time to workout or start your own business with even 30 minutes a day. not convinced? write out your day today with exact tasks of what you did for each 30 minutes. swap out social media time on the couch for the gym or TV time to unwind from the day for a walk around the block with the kids.
i promise you guys — you CAN achieve your goals if you put in the consistent, daily effort. it may not be exactly what you envision just yet — and that’s perfectly fine.
you can’t achieve a new goal by practicing the same exact habits as last year☝🏻
