It's really cool to see so many of you ladies and gentlemen taking your Hydra bottles with you to the beach! ⛱🌊
We are patiently waiting for the day when Hydra bottles💧 are more Australian🇦🇺 than budgie 🐤🐦 smugglers on a 40° day ☀️ at the beach. Hopefully more tasteful and many times more practical.
Thank you @tayahpickavance for spreading the word of Hydra to another Aussie beach!🇦🇺❤
Here’s another picture of my face. I’ve been into those lately 💁🏽♀️ .
I have a total of 8 job interviews (as of now) this week, so if I make no gains this week for inconsistent training, I at least expect my makeup skills to be out the roof by Sunday 😉 Send good vibes to a girl who needs to pay her bills 😅
Happy Tuesday fam ♥️
Late night sweat session. If it’s a priority to you, you’ll make time for it.

The man and I finally got ourselves to the closest library to really step it up for our goals this year 🙃✨
William and I have been living at home for a few years now and it’s been nothing but wonderful but I definitely forgot what it was like to study or to try and focus on something while living with others again 😭😂🤗
But we are not letting that be an excuse anymore and we got our A$$E$ to the library and we are making our brains weeeeerrrkkkk 👏🏼🙌🏼🗣
William is in the making of becoming an Insurance Agent while being a tech at BMW of Seattle also while supporting me with being an online fitness coach! 💏 he truly has the toughest part but only for now!
This has been nothing but a dream so far just being in a team of women who only want to empower other women and help get them out of whatever their “hell hole” is, is mind blowing in its own 🤯
So HERE WE ARE!! Making shiiiiit happen!!! 😍😆👏🏼🔥💁🏼♀️
I wonder if there’s a taco out there thinking of me too 🌮 #TacoTuesday

The most important thing one can work on is their foundation. The foundation is what everything is built on top of. You see all these wild and creative instagram exercises that appeal to the general population, but it isn’t what everyone should be doing exactly... a lot of people go to the gym contorting their bodies in the strangest positions, lifting weight they shouldn’t, and following whatever they saw online.
I believe there’s a time and place for these obscure exercises to be implemented into one’s regimen (with caution and a grain of salt), but I believe that’s AFTER the foundation has been built. The foundation I’m referring to is built by compound movements. Your traditional press movements, squat/deadlifts, pull-ups, rows, etc. There was a period of time that I didn’t do anything besides strength training with the “foundational” exercises, and I had never put on as much mass or felt stronger/proportional in my lifting journey (I used to be the person hitting whatever machine/muscle group I felt like upon arrival).
With the traditional compound movements, you’re training multiple muscles at once while being able to progressively overload. So over time, it’s much easier to add weight. It’s just much more effective to focus on these compounds and strength training initially, then supplementing with isolation exercises. Isolation exercises have its place in the conversation, but they aren’t building the foundation that so many people lack, instead they refine and fine tune the muscles on a more individual basis. In my opinion, they should be used as more of a tool, rather a primary method of muscle building.
🍰🎂🎂HAPPY BIRTHDAY COACH🎂🎂🍰
Hi everyone! This is Jared "The Last Kiss" Velasquez, Owner/Director and Head Coach of Amplified Athletics. I just wanted to offer my gratitude to each of the members🏋️♂️, friends🧑👩 and family👨👩👧 that have wished me a happy birthday these past few days.
Every birthday🎂 is a great time for me to reflect on the incredible opportunities and people I have had the privilege of meeting, working with and learning from.
This year is a special one as it marks the 15th anniversary since I first "laced up" a pair of velcro gloves🥊, helped my dad set up a heavy bag in the basement and started looking for a boxing gym to join.
Boxing has done me an innumerable amount of good throughout the years as I not only have learnt self-discipline and self-control, but I have also learned to appreciate myself for who I am, I have met a lot of great role models, I have worked alongside the industries best like the Mayweather family, Cuba's best coaches and gyms, and many honourable and respectable boxers, throughout the world. Boxing was the industry that I kept me motivated to give back, as I saw how it changed my life and I knew from the beginning I wanted to give back to other kids and adults. It was the reason I found my way to university👨🎓 to further my knowledge in physiology, training, and psychology and has broadened my skills and talents outside of having fast hands and feet, but also becoming a better human.
I personally believe God, my religion and my family are the biggest people I have to thank for all the opportunities, support and love I have received, especially from my wife and business partner @jennifermvelasquez and my baby daughter Eliza, both of whom brighten my days beyond anything conceivable.
Thank you all!
I’m honestly really enjoying my training schedule at the moment.
I’m just training hard, eating good and ultimately feeling happy without thinking about specific goals, meeting calories or anything as such.
What are you training today? 😊
Shoulders & triceps for me which is my favourite at the moment! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
