Because when you are driven by your goals, you will do anything to achieve them 🙌🏽
Been on this trip across the world for a few days now, and trust me- i’m exhausted from actual work, from traveling, from the time change, from basically all of it. But I know that taking those 20-25 min for myself in the morning is what makes my day way better and ready for it all.
And plus, knowing that my Virtual Gym Bootcamp ladies are doing the best they can during this holiday season just makes me want to push even harder! They are just absolute rockstars and they motivate me to be a better challenger and coach 💥
And I just can’t let them down!! I can let the excuse of ‘traveling’ get in the way of it all! Because that’s what that is- and EXCUSE! ———
Honestly don’t know what I would do without my accountability group- it’s what has kept me going for almost 4 years!
And guess what?! There is a spot just calling your name 😉 All you have to do is give it a go! ———

quads + hamstrings + calves = monday funday. what’s everyone hitting in the gym today? ✌️
Goal this winter....put on some good size why not going for a crazy bulk. I've done the put on a ton of weight and drop most by spring before. Wanted to change it up. "Bro, you just gotta pack it all on. That's how I do it". Is this person doing the work for me? No. Whatever your goal is, don't let the outside noise steer you. If you have a plan, stick to it, track your progress and always #trusttheprocess It's a marathon, not a sprint.

With the holidays amongst us, it's inevitable that most of us will be indulging in the festive spirit.
Don't be too hard on yourself. Have a glass of wine (or 2 or 3 😉) eat the yummy food and enjoy the holidays.
And then begin again because that is what matters. Returning to your health and fitness goals is what counts, not the extra calories.
Was looking back through old albums and searching for some extra motivation this AM and stumbled across this gem 🤩Figured it was about time I shared this video. Don’t ask me why I waited so long, but this is one of my many many favs, shot by the one and only @ramirez.creative .
Thought for the day - if you’re going to look back on the past, don’t dwell on all the “should haves” and “what if’s.” Rather than dwelling on all of the things you wish you could change or do over again, use the experiences of your past to motivate you to create an even more incredible future. And hey, if you’re not feeling like your greatest self lately that is OK! But guess what? You have the ability to change that. I would say don’t look back, but I know from experience that’s easier said than done. So, look back, reminisce, make note of lessons learned, rejoice in all of your triumphs and obstacles overcome and carry on - head high, mind at ease, soul on fire 🔥 .
Can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store!
For people that don’t have the best chest, myself included, I tried splitting it up by hitting upper chest one day then hitting mid and lower chest 2-3 days after. So that means I’m working out that muscle group twice a week and it’s worked miracles for me. My chest still isn’t the best but it’s come a long way from when I began bodybuilding.
It’s been extremely hard getting my arms to grow or even make them look like they exist at the very least. After so many months of working in the gym and learning new ways to make them grow I still have a hard time and it’s not one of those things that make me want to quit what I do but it definitely kills the vibe when I don’t see progress. Sorry for the rant just trying to keep it real with everyone because the whole point of this account is to show what I do and to not hide anything so you guys can better understand rather than think I’m trying to be some meat head that attempts to pick up everything in sight.💪🏽

The whole process of what I do everyday gives me this euphoric type feeling and that alone is why I’m never gonna stop doing what I do. Also breaking in the new @alphalete gear which was fun af. Btw I know this isn’t the best editing on the planet I just thought I should switch things up so I’m not posting the same thing everyday.

A main goal of mine is to step on stage for the first time next year in 2019. I don’t know how or when I’m going to yet so for now, until I figure everything out, I’m going to maintain and hopefully better my physique. I was never sure if stepping on stage was something I wanted to do but I’ve come to realize that this is a sport I’ve followed and loved since day 1 and if I never competed I feel like I’d regret it for a very long time.

Back and upper chest today. Time to change up the routine.
Inversion therapy elongates the spine by allowing the body to hang freely, head first, against the force of gravity. This creates natural traction on the spine, using your own body weight. Lengthening the spine relieves pressure and compression around the nerve roots and discs of the spine, and also increases the space around the vertebrae. Less pressure around nerve roots and discs alleviates back pain.
Certain medical conditions, such as high blood pressure or heart disease can make inversion therapy risky. Please check with your healthcare provider before beginning this or any other new exercise or therapy. #inversion#coachmariani#trainlivegive
What's been the most memorable Christmas gift you've ever received? 🎁😊
I have a natural drive and love having future ambitions but I have to consciously incorporate downtime into my routine as I know what a fundamental aspect to health and fitness this is! I’ve also learnt that there is a lot more to life and success in general than having the perfect physique or financial security.
Other fundamental aspects to having a rich and fulfilling life:
✨Having a positive attitude
✨Mental & physical health
✨Harmonious relationships with friends & family
✨Freedom from fear
✨Love for self & others
Catching up again with Day 8️⃣ and 9️⃣ of the #ALOver40 challenge. As usual weekends are hard when it comes to fitting practice into the schedule, especially when hubby is away all Saturday running an 50 miles /80 km (!!!) race. Which took 9 hours and I had to take care of all the driving to tennis practice, driving to parties, and also baking the saffron buns and gingerbread cookies for Christmas 🤶🏻🎄😅
Well, I tried a little one arm handstand play. I never did it before because I’m really scared of injuring my wrists, I mean I can hardly carry a frying pan with food with one hand and I’m surprised I can handstand without problems. So the one arm handstand is nothing I’m working on regularly 😆
But the #tittibhasana is really fun, I enjoy working on the lowering down from #handstand
And I hope you notice me modeling my new, beautiful and extremely comfy outfit from @runandrelax Absolutely super! .
