Cheers to the weekend!
Our health & fitness journey starts with one small step. I didn’t wake up looking like this. I had to take massive action to get there.
I decided five years ago I was sick and tired of how I felt. I wanted to change. I had no idea that a small investment would change my life forever.
The FEAR that I created in my mind was....I can’t workout like her. I can’t afford to spend that. I don’t have that kind of time. When in reality I did. Girl I know you want to change like I did. You know, have more energy, more confidence, feel better both mentally and physically. Stop letting fear hold you back. Ok? Awesome let’s be GREAT together.

BBS-Got your attention? This is me (and my girls) in Maui roughly 5mos post explant surgery (removal of breast implants that were making me very ill).
Today marks two years since removing what my husband refers to as "the rotten tits". I'm sharing my story as a way to be transparent and possibly help others in any struggles resembling mine.
I had saline implants inside my body for 16 years. Saline solution which is inside of a shell made of 40 plus chemicals, and in my case, the shell was disintegrating and leaching into my surrounding tissues- and my tissues were also breaking down around the implant. The closest organs to the implants were my HEART DIAPHRAM and THYROID gland. The closest and most affected tissue was that of my pectoralis muscles, and my chest wall\rib cage. I was experiencing a slew of symptoms from migraines, fatigue, insomnia, inability to regulate body temperature, chronic musculoskeletal #pain particularly in the neck and shoulders, weakness (especially in my core), growing hair in strange places, losing hair on my head, heightened anxiety , hormonal and fertility issues- the list really does go on and on.
Immediately following explant my pain lessened, and my body began it's journey back to homeostasis
What a journey it's been.
I'm now told by my husband that I'm a "different person in the best way" on a regular basis.
I have my energy back, and literally ALL of the symptoms listed above are GONE, or minimized to the point of being on par with "normal" people.
I still have sensitivities, and flare-ups when exposed to chemicals which may always be the case, but I'll fucking take it compared to the living hell nightmare that I was living.
I thought I was going to have to claim disability by 40! I could barely function.
NOW I'm THRIVING and able to say I've had growth & success in the first year of building my yoga and wellness business.
I'm trained in myofascial release mfr and nkt (currently working on that certification) and because of the influence of all the wise, loving and skilled body worker peeps who cared for me in my darkest time- I'm beyond i
I posted on my story about trying to create a positive outlook out of all circumstances today and I had such cute messages but also a lot of questions on how you can do this.. 🦋
I’ve got so many ideas/ tips and tricks but I don’t want to cram them all into one post because it’s not as digestible.
This is something not many people at all know about me, but I’m sharing it in hope it helps some of you beauties..
In the morning, I try and always make a note of something I’m already grateful for
And in the evening I note down something which I’m grateful for from during the day..
Wake up on a positive
And go to sleep on a positive
Try it 🌸
🍂Been working hard to create the perfect fall capsule, I want to share my outfits with you guys every day. These will be the real outfits I’ve worn all day, rather than outfits I’ve curated specifically for shoots ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Exactly two years ago in september, this whole journey started 🙌🏼 With more experience & 6kg less weight, I feel better than ever before about myself💫 Trust me, this was hard af actually and I often thought about quitting! I didn't quit. Was it worth it? Yes, absolutely! This is the biggest, most time-consuming project I've ever worked on & I'm proud, because I did it all on my own. I'm curious about what will happen in the future 😸

There was a time I really HATED my back! It was my least favourite body part. Why? It has always been wide, because I've been swimming 75% of my lifetime & I thought a girl with a wide back was "unattractive" (society made me believe such a bull💩). Sometimes, people even made fun of it (most of them were not serious about it, but still...) & this made me even more insecure. But can I do anything about it? NO. It's not going to lose all its muscle, just because I don't like it at all. What did I do then? I started to accept it & I don't give a single damn about anyone's opinion anymore. I continued to train my back in the gym & it got better & better. Without my back muscles, I would not have the hourglass shape (⏳) my body has now & you know what? I LOVE IT! Wide back & narrow waist are goals in the bodybuilding scene, everyone is striving for it. I know that some people will still think it's ugly to have a wide back as a woman, but I don't mind anymore. I like my back, it fits my body & I'm proud of it 👊🏼
