Imagine taking an entire day, for yourself, to gain clarity around how you truly want to feel in your life. ✨ To feel inspired and energized, to thrive, not just survive, and to live more inspired everyday of your life. ✨ Beneath every goal, there is a feeling that is deeply desired. This is the art of intentionally setting goals with soul. ✨ This work has changed my life, and this is why I became a Desire Map Facilitator. ✨ This program helps you to design your life around your core desired feelings in relationships, career, lifestyle, purpose, and sense of self. It helps you to find the strength and wisdom to take your power back in creating the life you truly desire. ✨ #TheDesireMap#CoreDesiredFeelings#GoalsWithSoul#sexinesss#intentional . ✨✨✨✨ Register using the link in our bio.
We lost a metro Detroit legend a few months ago in January, but her legend lives on every time you visit Olga's Kitchen and through her family. Did you know Dr. Tent treated Olga for a hot foot some years ago? Here's a nice story about it.
You are absolutely the most important person (living, breathing, human being) in your life. If you can’t improve your health/fitness/wellness for YOU, then how can you do it for someone else? .
Of course, we can all seek motivation for our health through our children, spouse, parents, friends or siblings...but making someone outside of yourself the primary or sole source of your “why” is dangerous. .
No matter how much you love and adore the people in your life, sustaining long term health goals HAS to come from a deep, internal desire to do better because you actually love yourself. Anything else is fleeting. .
With the wonderfully long Easter weekend here we will as a nation consume a larger amount of chocolate (Easter eggs and bunnies anyone?) and also generate about 8000 tonnes of waste alone from Easter egg packaging and cards. Producing chocolate in itself can be harmful for the environment (from ingredients and processes for palm oil and milk powder as examples) but we aren't saying this to scare you off chocolate - definitely enjoy it - but where you can, help raise awareness and make more informed choices. Choosing raw, ethically produced products with no or minimal packaging - ideally steering clear from plastic all together - will help reduce the strain we put on our planet.

Stress and anxiety can cause the overproduction of a certain hormone called cortisol, which encourages weight gain in the belly.

“Who would then deny that when I am sipping tea in my tea room, I am swallowing the whole universe with it and that this very moment of my lifting the bowl to my lips is eternity itself transcending time and space?” — D.T. Suzuki
Dealing With SETBACKS 🧘♀️ Let's talk INJURIES gang 🤸♀️ A much requested topic from you guys so in today's post I'm gonna chat a little bit about mentally getting yourself to focus on the CAN and not the CAN'T when you're side-lined with injuries.❤ NOTE: This is NOT a post to share what rehab exercises to do/not do - obviously, that would be irresponsible + impossible to share as an IG post! As I've said before - if you're concerned you've picked up an injury, see a healthcare professional if you can to get it assessed - a physio or your GP, or maybe even hosp if you think an imaging like an xray might be needed.
🧘♀️ I'm no stranger to injuries, + neither are many who engage in physical activity - once you start to talk about niggles + injuries from training + sport you realise almost everyone has something they're 'working on' - knees, feet, hips, wrists, shoulders, back - you name it! So the FIRST thing to remember is that you are NOT ALONE. It might seem on social media like everyone is gymming 24/7 - they aren't. If they are, they shouldn't be 🖐 Team No Days Off is a hashtag that should never have become one 🙉
🧘♀️ TWO - What can you LEARN from this setback to strengthen your comeback? 👍 For me, rehabbing my knee at the moment is teaching me SO much through working with my physio about my body, + having moved onto adding light plyometrics to my programme, I can 100% see the difference the balance work I did has made to my landing in jumps + hops! My goal is that as I progress rehab I'll be back lifting weights + running this year in the most balanced way, with the best form + technique I've got.
🧘♀️ THREE - Focus on your CANS, not your CAN'T. In fact, do what I did + banish 'I can't' from your vocab. It doesn't help your mindset! Write an I CAN list. I found this was the most helpful thing I did to mentally get through injuries - and it was how I became a Yogi too! .
🧘♀️ FINALLY - Healing takes TIME - so have PATIENCE + trust the process! And have a lovely Easter Saturday ☘ Excited to spend as much of today in the ☀️ as I can! #theirishbalance#yesyoucan#yougotthis#hardworkpaysoff#icaniwill

BEEATHLETE is the reflection of common values and beliefs of two women : Sandra Arribas & Soraya Francisco.
The BEE symbolizes community, brightness and personal power. Follow the bee to discover your new destination. Bee as a Spirit, Totem, & Power Animal.
Being an ATHLETE means that there is a goal, a desire to improve and a willingness to commit. There is an end goal that involves doing something that he or she can be proud off. This could mean setting a personal record even though it may be very far off the world record.
Captured by @blue.saul on my lil iPhone. ✨ Sorta went out of my comfort zone and modeled. It definitely was super liberating. 💙

A suuuuuuuper easy way to know if your wellness bath is extra enough to count as wellness is to see if it could be mistaken for soup! I’m calling this trend, BrothBath™️ (Not to be confused with SangriaSoak™️) because there’s nothing more self-care-savory than filling your bath with so many foreign items that your drain/landlord are weeping. THATS WELLNESS, BABES!!!!

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” - @barackobama ————

When people finally come back to nature or discover it honestly for the first time there begins a huge shift. They finally find themselves. Begin to heal. Fill the void that has been missing. •
There is a crucial development need to building this connection. It is inherent to who we are. Just as good relationships with our parents, guardians and community’s have been proven to help us thrive, nature sits firmly alongside these as a necessary component to forging the full human profile. •
Cultivating a better relationship with nature is therefore a nonnegotiable for enhanced living. For many it may need to be found sincerely for the very first time.
Wishing you a great weekend and that you’re able to keep close to her. #wildfoot
