So I usually make all my snack orders from the Protein Pick and Mix, but recently I decided to branch out and make an order from an alternative company. Enter @protein.package
First impressions : fairly cheap order, you get a discount on how many things you order so I chose the basic package of 10 products which got me a small discount and obviously I could completely mix and match on what I wanted. Everything I wanted to buy was in stock save the @nanobcaa pancakes - I had been looking to get a few of those but they only had 1 vanilla pancake and no chocolate ones in at all at the time I ordered.
I loved the fact that they had plenty of the @grenade birthday cake bars in stock as they were sold out sort everywhere else when I tried to buy, and I didn't want to commit to a whole box before trying them. (My fears were totally unfounded, birthday cake is one of my favourite Grenade flavours yet)
The box arrived damaged and parcel taped up which I thought wasn't great, but everything inside was fine and really yummy. I ended up ordering:

Part 1 of tonight’s gym story ... a guy came up to me and said ‘I’ve never seen a girl lift so much before’ 💪🏼 My immediate response was there are a lot of girls at this gym that can lift more than me - but after thinking 🤔 My idea of heavy weights is someone else’s warm up. Tonight my warm up was someone else’s aim. Moral of tonight’s conversation - Focus on your own story and goals ... Self-reflection is a good thing but you need to make sure you don’t spend so long navel gazing that you forget to look up and crack on with grabbing those goals with both hands. The fabulous @sarahgg1982 has helped give me the subtle kick up the arse and shove that I needed to realise we can all achieve our wildest dreams, we just need to get out there and work hard for our dreams!
I’ve been in a bit of a funk recently, one related to feeling like I’m constantly training, constantly running and neglecting other aspects of my well-being. *
So, tonight I ran when I wanted to and for as long as I fancied, not for as long as a piece of paper said I had to. I then headed back to the gym to re-build my strength and work on giving my core the stability it needs for all the challenges I put it through.
It’s now time to move forward and crack-on with the final few weeks of training before the #ultratourofedinburgh and remember to have lots of fun, sleep well, eat well, rest, recover and remember to enjoy the journey of life!
