Think of willpower like fuel in a car. You start everyday with a full tank. Great!
Un-forturtunately willpower is not exclusively reserved for food, drink and exercise.
Willpower is being used up all the time on other things.
Didn't jump out the car and kick the other persons wing mirror off who just cut you up, that took some willpower.
Boss annoyed you at work and you didn't fly into a rage throwing your computer across the office, more willpower gone.
Colleague boring you with a crap made up story that you don't care to listen to but you're smiling and nodding along, that takes willpower.
By the time you finish a busy stressful day and head home how much willpower is going to be left in the tank to stop you eating the family sized bag of crisps or whole pack of cookies?! So don't beat yourself up about a lack of willpower when it comes to diet and exercise. It's just being used up else where.
You need to build better habits into your life that don't rely on any willpower.

Hey ladies ❤️, so tummy fat, a pretty popular topic 🤨...
Before I start, just a quick reminder to check that it really is FAT that is troubling you, and not some deeper core related issues. As a rule of the thumb, if you can grab hold of it and squidge it, it most likely is fat, if it seems deeper than that, it is probably core related; it’s important ⚠️ to know the difference, as each must be dealt with in a different way.
Once you’ve determined that it IS fat, then it’s also important to remember that you cannot get rid of fat in one place only. Exercising that specific body part won’t really help so there is very little point doing sit ups or similar, which burn 🔥very little energy.
There are, however, a number of things that DO specifically impact tummy fat, and that is what I want to talk about here:
1️⃣Sugar – this is probably the single biggest culprit when it comes to tummy fat storage. Sugar causes an increase 👆🏼in blood sugar levels, which in turn causes the body to release insulin. High insulin levels not only make it harder for the body to burn fat, but it also encourages fat storage.👎🏼
2️⃣Stress – stress causes the body to release a hormone called cortisol. Long term elevated levels of cortisol predisposes the body to store fat around the waist.⏳
3️⃣Lack of sleep – this is a form of stress. And yes, I know this is not something you have much of a say in when you have a new or not so new baby, (or even 7 year olds in my case) but it is something you should be mindful of.
4️⃣Overtraining – believe it or not, TOO MUCH exercise can actually cause you to gain body fat, and this is once again down to the body’s release of cortisol, when exposed to stress.
I’ll be looking at some of the best ways to burn up that fat, next.
Have a beautiful day! 😊❤️😘
Roasted butternut squash, stuffed with sautéed red onion, Savoy cabbage, pine nuts and chopped squash. I mean......yummy, it most certainly was. ————————————————
All you need is ————————————————-
1 butternut squash (scoop out the head)
1 Savoy cabbage
3 red onions
Handful of pine nuts
Plenty of Himalayan salt n pepper
Coat your squash in coconut oil and pop in the oven for about 20 mins at around 180 fan asst.
sautéed all the other ingredients, then stuff the squash and roast for a further 20 mins, or until the squash is soft.
I served with a yummy broccoli & walnut salad.

Bench press was good today! Getting my strength back fast. ☺Got 2 sets of 10 135, set of 5 185, set of 5 225 pause reps, set of 1 275, set of 3 305, set of 5 305 slingshot, set of 8 265, set of 15 225 AMRAP and a set of 5 225 5 second pauses. 💪 Hopefully going to be right where I was in the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Could barely get 300 for a double last chest workout and just got 305 for a triple. Good sign! Hoping for 5+ reps next Wednesday and a 225 AMRAP for 20. 🙏

I can always tell how I’m doing based on these pants. The way the zipper pulls, if my hips are curving a little more on the side, and if I can pull them up more to rest where I like on my hips. Then I kept looking and noticed even my face has thinned back out. .
Little changes taking places and I can feel my overall energy coming back. I wasn’t in the best mindset on the left. Kept playing the victim in certain situations and just couldn’t get back to me 100%. Now, I just feel right.
Y’all know January is my month 😏🔥
