Thankful. I am thankful for firsts. I get a front row seat to so many couples’ first kiss as husband & wife, first introduction as Mr. & Mrs, and my personal favorite, their first dance🤗 I can’t wait to keep capturing these moments for my clients turned friends, to look back on for the rest of their lives, & their children’s, & on down the line.
Pretty sure I have the best job in the world & I wouldn’t trade it for the world either. I can’t wait to see what awesome people 2019 has in store for me & this little business of mine. Thank you for letting me do what I love💕
What are you thankful for?

If you are looking for an Officiant who will add some humor to the day, Harris Bloom is your man. Check out the New York Times article featuring his fresh outlook on wedding ceremonies.
Today on second shooter Wednesday it’s all about dancing. Jen being the primary photographer on the wedding day. Means she usually uses a prime lens and is moving in and out with the subjects while I’m on the zoom. It’s sometimes beneficial for the second to be on the zoom so he/she can stay out of the way of the primary shooter.

This guy, my husband. He’s literally the best. He got a new job recently and is really loving it so far! But along with that job came not being able to go to Portland/California in January like we had wanted to. I was pretty upset with this, as you can imagine, and I asked him if I could go by myself (we were planning on hanging out with @connor.rieschl and @ciera_figge in Portland and then all go down to Cali together) and he said I could. First of all, if the position was switched and he wanted to go by himself I definitely wouldn’t have said yes as quickly as he did and would have felt left out yet he was supportive of me going. But I couldn’t stop crying about him not being able to come with and was more upset then I was happy about going to Cali without him. So I decided to just go to Portland for a couple days to see my family and wait until he can come to Cali with us later on. He’s just amazing with putting up with my tears about missing California and I just wanted to post about how generous and caring this man is and I love him a TON!! •
Today is #worlddiabetesday, and I'm sending love and hugs to everyone dealing with #diabetes. Almost two years ago I lost my dear grandmother to diabetes complications. For years I watched her battling this silent killer. Few weeks ago I was shocked to hear that I'm borderline to becoming diabetic. A lot of things had to change in my daily routine since then, and I'm trying my best to fight against it. 🙌

Mind pretty much blown. Painting at the @kempermuseum working to capture the beautiful space, the amazing art, all to serve as the ideal backdrop for two huge hearted creative souls that were wed tonight! What a blast of a crowd, and vendor team! Congrats you too! On finding each other, and sealing the deal! 💖 #TooRooster

Finishing your wedding painting onsite must be the equivalent of meeting a sales quota or wrapping up the wenus report (wasn't that chandler's big project at work on Friends? 📺😋). And it's my weekly goal, and usually achieved(!), at each wedding.
But 36x48 canvases are just a bit more than a single Rooster can conquer all in one sitting.
This one finished and delivered recently to the beautiful couple - continued congrats to you both! 💗🙌🏻🤗

Sometimes the party moves on to the post party and the painter packs the painting across the streets downtown to safety and to finish drying. Just delivered this beaut to the new couple ... now 2 weeks married! 🤗💘👦🏻💍👱🏻♀️

Early tears (shared with the bride's sweet brother, but he didn't know 😌), subtle breezes, river views and a ceremony with words to solidify what marriage IS. So happy to be here for these two... BIG big congrats ❤
