I'm throwing it back to this nightstand to announce that my free plans are now available in my bio! That's right, completely free! This is my first time putting a set of plans together so I would love as much feedback as possible. .
Thank you to all of you for the encouragement and kind words on this piece. I really hope to develop more plans going forward.

Switching things up this evening and taking on some cleaning. I’m using this reclaimed maple flooring to make a table top for my next build and while I love it’s aesthetic, it is caked with decades of filth and grease. I’m scrubbing off the sides of each board and then running a razor down ‘em to cut off any residual glue so when it comes time to glue things up I’ll have tight joints. In other news, I can’t feel my feet and our first significant snowfall is on it’s way. I’m hoping it’s magical. 👍🏼
Since everyone is posting their old builds I thought I’d #tbt to my very first coffee table build in 2015 made out of lumber to my most recent one completely built out of maple.
From pocket holes and not knowing how strong glue was to milling my own wood and intense joinery, it’s been quite a fun learning curve!

Cleaned all the boxes and raised the grain. Will do a quick 220 then first coat of poly.
The Small Open Bookcase shown in North American Cherry, with some well-loved books from my collection. The bookcase is finished with an oil/polyurethane blend to bring out the luster of the grain, and will develop incredible character as the color deepens over time due to the natural characteristics of Cherry.
I’ve been waiting for years to reveal what’s underneath these rough chainsaw milling marks. I’ll give ya a hint, it’s some crazy beautiful air dried feather grained urban black walnut. Staging them and expanding the router slab table to accommodate them. I’ll start flattening these bookmatched beauties in the weeks ahead once the #walnutdiningtablebuild is up in the finishing room. Not sure what this project hashtag will be yet. 🤷♂️ #josephlamacchia
Single slab walnut in its new Michigan home. ✨ Props to some great local clients and design by @n.wirtdesign. We love working closely with clients to create their perfect table and deliver in person every chance we get.
