I posted this a few days ago but the caption didn’t load so I’m trying again 🤦♀️!
Whether you’re training ring handstand push ups or just looking for an exercise to increase core and shoulder strength and stability, try one of these ring push up variations! •
In all of the first three variations, make sure to always keep a protracted (turtle) back and flat hips by squeezing your glutes! In the next two, you’ll break at the hips to get more inverted, however still keep those shoulders protracted! Descend until your shoulders touch the rings and then push back up. •
1) ring push ups with your feet on the floor
2) ring push ups with your feet slightly elevated
3) Ring push ups with knees on the box so you’re more inverted. Shoulders should go in front of the rings as you descend.
4) Ring push ups with feet elevated even higher. Break at the hips here to try and *somewhat* stack your hips over your hands over your shoulders over your wrists 🤪
5) Ring push ups with your body stacked and in line with the ring straps! Hips over shoulders over wrists and completely in line with the ring straps. As you descend, your shoulders should go in front of the rings. When your shoulder touches the top of the ring then you can push back up!

What does your Sunday look like?
For some, it's PJ's and cereal in bed all day. 😋 For others, it's the day to prepare for the coming week (mentally and physically). Still for others, it is a day of worship and spending time with family and friends.
Whatever you do today, enjoy, pause, reflect and breathe.
Happy Sunday friends! 💕
Oh the controversy... Well do they work? ⠀⠀
Yes they do! But not how you may think. ⠀⠀

Yesterday was Running Streak Day 686: I did the craziest thing I have ever done as a runner! I ran the NYC 60K (37.2 miles) unofficially 6:46:00. If that isn’t crazy in its own right, I ran this race just 13 days after running a personal record NYC marathon! It was an incredible! Thank you @aparow@lisaanuhhh@_savanity_ and @wearenycrc for your awesome support! Official results coming soon... oh, and today was running Streak Day 687, I ran 2 miles this morning! #nyc60k#runeveryday#runyourworld
This yummy mummy @sunshinebalogun did not come to play! She smashed her goals in 12 weeks! She's fitter & stronger! We don't play, no magic or random teas! We eat well, sweat & see amazing results! Read her testimonial and be INSPIRED! "A year ago, I looked at my photos and I was shocked at how big I’d gotten. No, this wasn’t a result of having 2 kids, this was me living a sedentary lifestyle. I ate somewhat healthy, but my activity level was zero. .
If you’ve been following me for a bit, you’ll remember I tried to lose weight in November last year with detox tea. I lost about 7kgs in a month (on the scale). Shockingly, I didn’t even drop a dress size 😂.
As tasking as being a Makeup artist is on my waist from stooping, I can ‘beat’ 10 faces and barely take 500 steps. So I’d be exhausted, yet my body hadn’t done much in form of exercise. .
I tried various diets, nothing worked. Long story short, 2 friends of mine got on the 12 weeks program with @fitmrsfats, and their transformations were mindblowing. So I decided to give it a try.
I lost a total of 8kgs, I went from weighing 81.9kgs to weighing 74.5kgs. I could have easily lost 10kgs, but for a mombasa trip I took. Story for another day 😂. And I’ve dropped a dress size, 2 sizes in some brands 😉. And my chronic waist pain is gone. .
Please note, it’s hard work, but the results are long lasting. Because at the end of the day, you learn how to take care of yourself. It’s a lifestyle change." Join the LifestyleChangeWithApril with any of these contact options:
