Level 1: With a blanket, slowly straighten your legs, then pull back in.
Level 2: Lift the hips first, straighten your legs, lower the hips, then pull back in.
Level 3: Lift the hips, straighten the legs, keep the hips lifted, then pull back in.
This exercise is safe and accessible and particularly helpful for runners. You can work up to 8-10 reps of each level and make this a part of your yoga practice or workout routine.

So as the Italians do, we plan on savoring every bite until the day we return back on American soil.
That will be the day things start to speed up, but we are also looking forward to that day too.
