Essa é a maravilhosa SUSAN TEDESCHI !!!! Toca e canta muiiiiito !!! Ouçam 1 minutinho, por favor !!
Susan Tedeschi born November 9, 1970 is an American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter who draws adroitly from other musical traditions, including rock and reggae. A seven Grammy Award winner, she is a member of the Tedeschi Trucks Band (originally known as "Soul Stew Revival"), which is a conglomeration of her band, her husband Derek Trucks's the Derek Trucks Band, and other musicians. Susan Tedeschi is part of the new generation of blues musicians looking for ways to keep the form exciting, vital, and evolving. Tedeschi's live shows are by no means straight-ahead urban blues. Instead, she freely mixes classic R&B, blues, and her own gospel and blues-flavored originals into her sets. She's a young, sassy blues belter with musical sensibilities that belie her years. After graduating Norwell High School, Tedeschi attended the Berklee College of Music, where she sang in a Gospel choir. Eventually Tedeschi was opening for John Mellencamp, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, The Allman Brothers Band, Taj Mahal, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. Susan Tedeschi's voice has been described as a blend of Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin, which she maintains because she has been influenced by both. Her guitar playing is influenced by Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King and Doyle Bramhall II. In December 2001, Tedeschi married Derek Trucks. In 2010, Tedeschi and Trucks formed a new group called Tedeschi Trucks Band. In this video clip Susan performing amazing solo guitar by her own song "JUST WON'T BURN". This song is written by Susan Tedeschi and appears on her second studio album of the same name released in 1998. 🎂🎸

And so, for today’s #GuitarOfTheDay, we bring you the workhorse, the industry standard that is the @Fender American Professional Telecaster. And this one is looking particularly slick and beautiful, adorned in olympic white, with a strikingly dark rosewood fingerboard. These guitars really are brilliant - with a polished, characterful, articulate sound, refined feel and finish. The electronics are of particular note, since Tim Shaw - who designed the famous Shawbucker pickups - has had a hand in designing a pair of V-Mod Telecaster single-coil pickups. And it doesn’t stop there - with a deep-C neck profile, narrow-tall frets and a three-saddle brass, compensated saddle bridge, this guitar is efficient, comfortable, accurate and a true joy to play. Fender really have taken the American Professional range to a height that redefines the American Standard, the way we have always known and loved it. Think this might be the guitar for you? Why not stop by our Denmark Street store this week, and give it a spin? It’s a beauty, and it’s waiting to go to a loving home.
