Espero voltar muitas vezes. #SoulMatters#OnlyInMelia [parceria]
Forever the person who gets really excited when the sky turns 50 shades of pink 💜
Fun fact : that edge was narrow and super slippery, I nearly fell and had a mini heart attack right there! So much for being spontaneous! 😅
China is a controversial country for me, because it's an amazing country, but it's so different to Europe, and I got used to it. 😕 But China has so awesome and unique in the world, so you should visit it at least once in your life! 👌👌
If you are looking for world class diving in Malaysia, you must visit Sipadan in Sabah!
I have been there 4 times & I still want to go back for more 😍
My 1st time was in 1998 when I just have 15 dives to my name. I could not resist since I was doing a business trip in Tawau and Sipadan was just a 1-hour car ride to Semporna followed by a 30-min boat ride .
This was the trip that got me hooked to diving for life!
However, I struggled during my 1st trip as Sipadan diving was very challenging for a newbie
So my recommendation is to go to Sipadan only when you have more experience & with Advanced certification as night diving here is amazing 😀
Follow me as I introduce to you Sipadan, Mabul & Kapalai islands both above & below the waves 🤗
❓ Have you dived in Sipadan?
🌎 #TravelTip : Back in 1998, there was only backpackers style accommodation on Sipadan & 2 resorts on the nearby island of Mabul. Shortly after, all accommodation on Sipadan was removed to protect the island's fragile ecosystem & for safety of divers
Sipadan Water Village Resort was where I stayed in 1998 & it still exists today as per my photo above. However, the price is now too exorbitant for me! .
Other accommodation can be found on Mabul, Kapalai & Seaventures which is an oil rig converted into a dive resort ❤ @travelistajen
Getting a case of the Monday Blues, wishing we were swimming in the Aegean Sea instead of 6° F in NYC. 💙
I was listening to @cathy.heller’s podcast (Don’t Keep Your Day Job) and she said “I love Monday’s” because she loves her job! I can’t remember the last time I loved Monday except when traveling and I didn’t know what day of the week it was. Thanks Cathy for your podcast, it’s inspirational and I’m working hard on my dreams to love all 7 days of the week instead of just 2.5! You guys should check out her podcast!
Who else loves Mondays? I’d love to hear your story!

Travel burnout, it is real.
I have visited more places than my original expectations when I started this "hobby", so when people around me are just starting to hit the travel rush, I simply don't feel the same anymore.
You see, after a while, everything becomes just another “one of.” And sometimes I think modern traveling is not traveling at all; it is merely being sent to a place, and very little different from becoming a parcel.
I still have a few travelling ideas in mind, and my bucket list is endless, so I won't stop in near future, but I think I need to change my habits to keep it interesting.
The other day I went ice skating in the Grand Palais and it was an absolutely breathtaking experience - the light show was spectacular! Ice skating itself wasn’t as easy task though... especially for someone who tried it only 3 times in their life (me) 🤫 Luckily I had a personal trainer @hally by my side who’s quite a pro👌 Still, I managed to fall over a couple of times and my wrists are still in pain 🤣 How about you, did you ever try ice skating?
Karangasem in East Bali was once a powerful kingdom. I am so captivated by the ethereal beauty of this Ujung Water Palace and its surrounding landscapes, beautiful manicured gardens and fish ponds.
I am also very intrigued by the Balinese carvings on the pillars and arches that look middle eastern from this pavilion. Standing here feeling the gentle wind blowing, enjoying the serene and panoramic views Mount Lempuyang. I totally felt that I have been transported out of this world.
At the moment, this magical place is not yet a hot tourist spot yet so I really enjoyed this unrivalled pleasure to myself.
Make a guess what's the view on my left side? And did you know there is some dark secrets in this beautiful palace? I will reveal them in my next few posts, so follow me to see this beautiful place.
