I’m currently still in the EDA phase in my project AND noticed that I have too few data points for each year (I work with time series data) AND I miss some information for some years (gaps in data) 🤦🏽♀️ This is not surprising but a bit annoying. The positive part of this is that I learn what to do in situations like this. I don’t have any good answers yet but I’m reading like crazy to understand the best way to handle problems like this. Do you have any suggestions? HELP!

I don’t really like naming my paintings, so I will leave that up to you guys. I made this piece for my office, despite being an art/science nerd I am also an engineer.
Robotics is a field that has always caught my interest. From its application to fictional worlds to our world. Robotics provides the play yard for all of the different disciplines of engineering to play together. I have many interests; whenever I see connections between my interests i get excited.
Most Machines have a very peculiar but strangely familiar way of thinking. Their thought process is appropriately described as binary; either it is a 0 or 1, true or false. Machines are amazing and oftentimes evoke admirations from their human observers. Although machines are capable of accomplishing colossal tasks, we should not try to imitate them. Binary thinking is efficient, economical , fast and/or rational, but when applied to the human brain it murders creativity, innocence and innovation.

Cecilia Helena Payne-Gaposchkin born in 1900, is British-born American astronomer and astrophysicist who proposed in her 1925 doctoral thesis that stars were composed primarily of hydrogen and helium⚗️. Her groundbreaking conclusion was initially rejected because it contradicted the scientific wisdom of the time, which held that there were no significant elemental differences between the Sun☀️ and Earth🌍. Independent observations eventually proved she was correct. Payne was able to accurately relate the spectral classes of stars to their actual temperatures by applying the ionization theory
Based on the continuous observations and analysis, she found out that helium and particularly hydrogen were vastly more abundant (for hydrogen, by a factor of about one million). Her thesis concluded that hydrogen was the overwhelming constituent of stars making it the most abundant element in the Universe⭐️⭐️

But I also have serious FOMO and I love learning💕 (I know #nerdalert🤓 )
So when I learned about our quarterly coaching event, I texted one of our other coaches, whom I had never met 🙈 and asked if she’d meet me there... I then promptly texted one of my besties to meet her for lunch afterwards knowing I couldn’t drive 2 hours home without seeing a familiar face! She agreed to that and even decided to join me 💕
We learned, we laughed, I cried (doesn’t take much 🙈), we sweat our 🍑’s off and we set our goals for our futures together!
This is what this community is all about. It’s about building each other up. Pushing each other out of our comfort zones and learning how to dream again 💕
So happy my team pushed me to try something new to make these memories together 💕
Day 1 of our new program and this was the words of wisdom at the bottom of the program tracker.
To be honest... it hit me kind of hard... I struggle with confidence. I struggle with believing I can do it. I struggle with knowing that it is okay to fail!
But as I kicked off this program this morning, I entered my week on a high note. I completed a kick butt work out with no low blood sugar and that helped me to keep my head up the rest of the day!
For me, this program is not just about bodily transformations, it’s about the shift in mentality too and it couldn’t have come at a better time! 💕

I’ve felt like straight 👏🏻 up 👏🏻 shit 👏🏻 lately. With dental + various other problems, I haven’t been able to look in the mirror and feel like “me.” So here is a glamour selfie I took months ago. Thank you.
Since I got a couple messages from you why I haven’t been posting anything in so long, I also started thinking about why I haven’t.
For me the new year began with so much change that didn’t know if I should spam you guys with all this content and thoughts like crazy or rather take some time for myself and my decisions for 2019.
I went for the second. I mean I love this community and all the feedback and support I got since I started sharing my coding path here. But I guess sometimes it’s also important to take a step back and refocus.
So for everyone who got this far, here’s a short update:
I’m about to decide we‘re I want to start my fist permanently employed job as a web developer. I already got a couple offers but also a few more interviews to go.
After only working in companies as a freelancer or working student this actually is quite a commitment for me.
Also over the past couple weeks I’m working with @binicodes on side project, where we’re currently talking to some awesome companies, to get this baby started next month 🚀 we’ll be sharing more updates on that very soon 👩🏼💻🤓
The dreaded "BEFORE" photos.... I hate taking these. I won't smile when I take them. I always look at them after and pick them apart. "Are my thighs actually that big?" "Wow, my hips are huge!"

Today was Day 1 of my new workout program. So I needed to take these lovely things to see progress later.
But, I made a deal with myself. I would find the things I liked about each photo and I would focus on that. "I still have some ab lines!"
"My butt looks great!"
"There's still a little definition in my arms!" I know that there is progress I want to make, and that these photos are the first step to seeing that progress.
It wasn't easy for me to look at these. And I know alot of people have the same mindset. So I'm sharing my photos. Everyone has a before, it's the work, it's the consistency, it's the mindset that matter most!
He never fails to get right in the way. It’s like it’s his full time job. 🙄
Just over a year ago my fiancé and I moved into this apartment. I wanted more space for my very rambunctious bengals. Lol. .
Shortly after that, I decided to share the room with them and make it half bengal room/ half fitness room. 1 year ago I started my first fitness program with a wonderful support community. Tomorrow I start another new program and am beyond excited. .
If I had read that previous paragraph 2 years ago, I would have been like, “ha yeah right. Doubt I’ll stick with it”.. but I did! I love working out at home, on my schedule for as long as I want. On many days you’ll hear me fire up the Keurig at about 9 PM. Why??? I frequently use coffee as my liquid in my superfood shakes - literally makes it taste like a mocha frappe. But in order to enjoy this goodness, I have to prep the night before so that my coffee can cool!
I’ve got my coffee chilling, my lunch prepped and my laptop ready to fire up for tomorrow’s workout!

What is a typical day for me at work? Does it include working on an actual rocket and engine?
Yes. Yes, it does! Despite being a young engineer who just graduated college – I am still fortunate to work on actual flight hardware and vehicles; this is the beauty of a start-up company
Being a Propulsion Development Engineer on the 1st stage of the rocket, I wear a lot of hats with different responsibilities. My job entails a variety of tasks such as components design, stage testing, procedural writing, manufacturing assemblies and integration of systems. My job is divided in-between the testing field and the office. In the office, I communicate with the engineers design intents for components, write procedures for rocket launch and testing and design new components (like tubing, sensors, valves). In the testing field, I implement changes on the flight vehicle such as an installation of a new valve, cleaning the fluid system, run testing procedures for load/offload of the rocket. .
