I can’t even remember the last time we had a Friday introductions, but with so many exciting changes taking place in our lives right now I figured it might be time for another ❤️ Easiest way to do this is to talk 5 fun facts, so here goes nothing!
1️⃣ I was born and raised in my little island of Haiti, and it will always be where I call Home 💕 BUT I am currently (as of the passed two months) based in Barcelona 😱 some may know, some may not, but it’s the first time I’ve said it on here and it officially feels real... cue the freak out
2️⃣Travel fuels everything... it is my inspiration, my source of rest as well as unrest. I feel like I travel to live, not the other way around, because experiencing new places, food and culture literally makes me feel most alive
3️⃣And yes on that note, it means I am multilingual, frequently thinking in a different language than the one I’m speaking in, and conversations with friends will often seamlessly switch from one language to another... Worst part is I wish I knew even more languages, they fascinate me!
4️⃣ Most can’t ever tell but I am an ambivert ... I’m actually very shy and self-aware, and the fact that I talk a lot is more of a defense mechanism to calm my nerves... it takes me the strength of 10 men just to come on here and write this paragraph. The struggle is real
5️⃣ And I guess this is the perfect time to mention some of my phobias... don’t be afraid to look them up 😂 this may even start an interesting conversation, because I have plenty! They make my skin crawl and keep me up at night, the very thought of them can be paralyzing so get ready... coulrophobia, emetophobia, thalassophobia, entomophobia and lepidopterophobia... I think that’s enough for one day! The full list to follow... maybe we can even make a series out of it because I can’t possibly be the only one 😂
And so there you have it! Welcome to my world! Image of me with an arch we put together a couple of days ago with @floraisonparis & @hart_floral at @landofdreamsbykm gorgeous Paris atelier 💕

🍁🍂 Stop your scrolling! We’re going to dissect this ✨ gooorgeous Chuppah look because it’s stunning and we LOVE the romantic vibes!
1️⃣. 🕯 Never underestimate the power of romantic lighting. The candles and lanterns strewn about are simply lovely! These candles can then be repurposed for the reception, bonus!
2️⃣. A seasonal color palette: we love the late summer, early fall vibes here. Looking for ways to make your Chuppah extra swoon-worthy? Think in your wedding’s colors: pastels for spring, vibrant for summer, jewel tones for winter! *but don’t forget: do what feels like 👌🏻 YOU!
3️⃣. 🌺 It’s a bit unrealistic for some to have a Chuppah dripping in flowers from top to bottom. Why not work with your florist to create a beautiful installation that sweeps from one side to another? 🤩 Were drooling over this asymmetrical look, so whimsical!
👆🏻 Those are our top tips for achieving this incredible Chuppah look. Florist @frontierflowersoffontana 🌺 you are a genius!!!!
Do you remember / the 21st night of September? / Love was changing the minds of pretenders / While chasing the clouds away / Our hearts were ringing / In the key that our souls were singing / As we danced in the night / Remember how the stars stole the night away ✨ I had to. This is my #mustplay - what is yours? 🎶 (And it’s almost been a year since Lindsay & Mac’s wedding day! 😍) #gathertogetherweddings
It’s the official start of fall🙌🏻 it may not really feel like it here in the south, but it’s in full swing inside our home! One of my favorite things to decorate with is black beard wheat, so why not use it on invitations as well?! I absolutely love using unique details on wedding invitations, and this will always be my favorite!
