Earlier this week I was on a podcast and shared a little bit about my story; how I went from rock bottom, chillin in a pile of my own sweat and vomit to borderline overly confident, gives little to no fucks business and life coach.
See my journey started when I was at the top. But really, the top was the bottom. Inception failure. Let me explain.
From the outside, I had it all.
A successful business.
An athletic title.
A power-couple relationship.
A tight family life.
Man. I was boss. Except that wasnt my reality.
I saw my business as a failure and constantly compared myself to others. Regardless of how well I did each month, I always felt like I was struggling to support myself financially.
I felt like the athlete that never could. Even as a top CrossFitter in my country all I saw was everything I couldn't do along with all of the people who could crush me.
My power-couple relationship was a co-dependant, volatile dynamic that brought out the worst in both people.
My family ties were strained as I continued to isolate myself feeling unworthy and unlovable.
Some life. It was at this point I stopped hiding from my problems. I decided to own them. And started working with my coach.
See, so many people have everything they have ever wanted. Logically, they know they should be grateful for all the good in their lives.
And yet they are deeply unfulfilled. They have a constant emptiness and feel they are missing something in life. Something big.
And I am here to tell you, you ARE missing it. You are not crazy. Life is not meant to feel the way you feel. You are meant to feel fulfilled. You are meant to thrive.
But you need to take a chance on yourself. You need to stop pretending it's all fine. You need to invest in yourself. You need to start. No more excuses. If not now, then WHEN?
If you are ready holla at yo girl. 📷: @wildeyed
