Pernah kuminta hujan
Pernah ku minta hujan
Saat hati merasa sepi di tengah keramaian
Agar kembali kuraih keceriaan
Pernah ku minta hujan
I agree with car-sharing service.
As you know , Kakao is representive service company in Korea.
A couple of weeks ago , Kakao starts to open temporarily as test. However taxi drivers object against them.
Meanawhile, one of them suicided to show complainements of carsharing service. Im so sorry to hear of that really.
Gerverment is trying to resovle this problem and making the table to negotiate it. But taxi-driver argue that they don’t have to attend the table if kakao is working now.
Finally Yesterday , Kakao claim that they suspend for a while. Instead , ask taxi-driviers to join the negotiation table.
The service has many benefits for customers.
And we have just rights to use various transportation. Car-sharing service is also one of options.
We can take bus if we afford to have time or we can use this service if we have followers taking the sharing car. If only reason why taxi driver decrease theirs benefits , it`s unfair for customers, not taxidrivers.
Instead , there are compatible resolutions between taxi driver an kakao. It`s like fair rules.
Taxi-driver insist that it`s unfair that car-sharing car drivers pay for gurantee fee of owning the car like taxi drivers.
If Only reason they protected, it would be also unreasonable i think.

Sparks Fly through the air when this Novel is mentioned within earshot!
Talk about the ultimate showcase for a Brand Universe! DUNE by Frank Herbert, is 'One For The Books(pun totally not intended).’
Regardless of your readership inclinations, 'DUNE’ cross-pollinates among genres bringing forth a story of Man’s never ending war over resources. There’s not the slightest doubt in my mind that All Of You know this title, now it’s time to read what’s inside those star crossed pages. Personally, I’ve read this epic twice, each time in one sitting, escaping ordinary life for five fantastical hours.
And now the Greatest News: Denis Villeneuve will be helming the newest Film version, with Timothee Chalamet playing Paul Atreides. All former versions failed to meet the Grand(Me)Standards set by the book. No longer. What Villeneuve did for Blade Runner he’ll repeat for DUNE!
"Just as individuals are born, mature, breed, and die, so do societies and civilizations and governments,"-Maud’Dib
"Remember: Walk without rhythm and we won’t attract the worm. It will go to the thumper."-Paul Atreides
My Dear Followers, I give You DUNE! Read it before the sands run out....
Manny Atreides(gee, my new last name sounds Greek,- Perfect)

My 1st non-fiction read of 2019 was @laura.tingle 3 essays concerning Australian government. I love her writing while also nursing the deeply wounded knowledge I will never write with such skill 😩 Ots worth noting that this was published in 2017 & originally these essays were published in 2012, 2015 & 2017. I am behind the times and auspol has had yet more turmoil since publication.
In her 1st essay Tingle examines the Australian psyche and how national sense of entitlement and anger. It was an eye opening read. She links our disillusionment in government to how we became a nation and our early leaders/their policies. She also looks at modern auspol and the expectations our leaders of the past 40yrs have encouraged in their policies and how these have played out over time, ending up with this angry citizenry. I thoroughly enjoyed walking back through the familiar tale of Aus history, looking through a new lens. She asks important questions about our past that have significant consequences for our future. .
Tingle looks at the importance of the public service in her 2nd essay, how it has been dismantled since Howard in 96 and the cost of “political amnesia”. Governments change regularly, but in the part we’ve had a public service full of experts in their fields with “institutional memory”. Well worth reading and I hope our leaders have read and take heed. I knew very little about the behind the scenes operation of everyday governance before reading this. The before and after snapshot of the public service Tingle provides is concerning. Too much to say for an insta caption! Read it and we’ll chat IRL 🤓
In the final, short, essay, she looks at Turnbull’s leadership. The next essay I need to read is her most recent quarterly essay from 2018 “Follow the leader: democracy and the rise of the strongman”. #auspol#quarterlyessay#essay#australianhistory#australiansettlement#governance#ausgovernment#politicalamnesia#greatexpectations#australianentitlement#australiananger#australianfederation#australianidentity

Fresh literature and fresh libations. Is there a better way to spend a Tuesday evening?
Juniper House Readings convenes tonight 6:30 PM. Bring yourself, perhaps something to share, and meet us here 🍻
(iv) Alternatively, you may choose to upend the defensive state of mind by lunging into your own attack. A counter attack if you will.
However which way you look at it, being second is like being behind. In a game absent of error, you are dancing, and they are your lead. It requires an entirely different type of tempo. A sense of waiting, if you will.
Being reactionary is good, so long as you have... #chess#war#struggle#battle#initiative#game#writer#poetry#writing#journal#essay#article#cursive#art
this doesn't fit the aesthetic, but i just wanted to say that I've had a really rough time for these past months. Lack of motivation, discouragement, stress... It kept me from doing anything. It doesn't really help that I don't like European Studies at all. I've been wanting to quit for a while, but my parents encouraged me to at least get over with the first exam session. As for the business faculty, things are well, I hope... I need to focus a lot of that one, to get a scholarship. Anyway, I have a lot of essays to do and I'm really not good at bla blaing at ALL. But I'm happy because I finally got my very first laptop and this thing has been so helpful! I absolutely love it.
An excerpt from my material culture essay last year. I wrote about the political influence that was expressed through art and costume during the French Revolution: 📝📝📝
“Politically, costume was also influenced. Change in society meant change in dress and fashion, unlike before when clothing was originally used to mark social hierarchy, garments worn by an individual represented their political convictions. Social status no longer mattered to the people of France, noble privilege, clerical status and distinction of rank was abolished. Aristocratic fashion was seen as evil, and expensive fabrics – silks, velvets, taffetas – were prohibited.
Clothing was a symbol of whether you supported or condemned revolutionary change. Those for change wore a cockade following the storming of Bastille and the declaration that all citizens of the capital had to wear one. The cockade was tri-colour, as seen on the Carmagnole jacket at the Palais Galliera (Palais Galliera, 1790 – 1800), of blue, white and red. This was before the French flag was adopted in 1794 and therefore was not inspired by the flag like many people are led to believe. Members of the public would be stopped by the guard if they were not wearing the coloured cockade, as Catherine Hyde, Marquise de Gouvion Broglie, in her edit of The Secret Memoirs of Princess Lamballe (1901, p. 219 – 221) describes:
‘Another day, as I was going to walk in the Tuileries (which I generally did after riding on horseback), the guards crossed their bayonets at the gate and forbade my entering. I asked them why. They told me no one was allowed to walk there without the national ribbon.’”
