Would be great if we all could find some happy inside the sour. I love Lemon Curd. I could seriously eat it straight or on any number of treats (including toast)it is so simple to make, store and enjoy I really should make it all the time - whatever am I posting about curd? Well because I ran out!!! I realized too late (toast was ready) so I grabbed several huge lemons from the tree and twenty minutes later I’m in curd heaven again! .

If you know me, you know I’m a perfectionist. I’ll hustle for an “excellent” as opposed to settling for an “ok.” Since I wasn’t thrilled with the crust on my blueberry pie, I wanted to try again. This time, I made a cherry pie 🥧❤️ #cherrypie I still struggled with the #crust but it came out so much better! Lots of tweaks based on what I learned the day before. And I felt like I met the challenge with more #grace And understanding this time. Yay! @kmash55 got to taste test it - and we both agreed that it is GOOD! 🍒 Baking is a challenge for me - it doesn’t come naturally. And it is so rewarding to work at something and get better.
