Took my first crack at making energy bites last night and I’m quite happy with the result.🤓 I call these “Oatmeal Raisin Energy Bites” and let me tell you they are easy to make and reeeal yummy 🙋🏼♀️ .
How I made them 👉🏻 in a blender I mixed 1/2 cup of almonds, 1/2 cup walnuts, 1 cup of dates, 1/2 cup large flake oats, 1 heaping tbsp of honey, 1-2 tbsp of @wild_friends cinnamon raisin pb and about 1 tsp of cinnamon. After it formed a paste i added in about 1/4 cup of raisins and then rolled them into balls. Rolled half of them in coconut and half left chillin incase you’re feeling them without! 🤗🥜🍇
This recipe is amaze-BALLS!!!
Such an easy snack for school, work, the gym, wherever you may go! And you don’t even need to bake them!
• 2 tbs honey
• 2/3 cup peanut butter
• 1 cup oats
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1/3 ground flax (for some extra fiber!)
• I added a spoon full of cookie butter because I’m obsessed but that’s totally optional
Mix it all in a bowl, refrigerate for 15-20 mins, and then roll into balls (the mix should make about 10-12 balls)
And just like that you have a healthy little snack filled with fiber and protein!

Elles sont sucrées principalement avec des dates et elles sont protéinées avec du beurre de noix, qui fais un mélange parfait! 1 cup hemp seeds
2 tbsp cacao powder
2 tbsp dried blueberries/strawberries or raspberries
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp liquid coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix together in a blender.
Roll into 1/2 tsp size balls.
Keep in fridge or freezer
Double the recipe to freeze extra!
Hi folks, here is my til ladoo aka sesame balls recipe. If you are someone like me, who’s not big on sugar, you’ll love this one. I have used a variety of nutrient-dense nuts and seeds making it a powerhouse of energy. It can be eaten as a dessert or an evening snack, perfect for all age groups especially kids. My mom used to give this with a glass of warm milk as a post-school snack.
What is this good for?
*Rich in essential fatty acids. Reduces inflammation and promotes cardiovascular health.
*Improves brain and memory function.
*Combats PMS symptoms including menstrual cramps, mood swings and abdominal pain.
*Rich in dietary fibre.
Til Ladoo/ Sesame Nut balls
Serving: 20 balls
Prep time: 30 mins
Calories per ball: 150 kcal
100 gm sesame seeds
100 gm peanuts
50 gm desiccated coconut
50 gm almonds
50 gm walnuts
75 gm honey
75 gm jaggery powder
50 gm ghee (clarified butter)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
*Heat a non-stick pan, add the sesame seeds and dry roast on low heat while stirring continuously until it changes colour slightly. Keep aside.
*In the same pan, dry roast the peanuts first and then dessicated coconut. Same as step 1. Keep aside to cool.
*Coarse grind peanuts, almonds and walnuts in a food processor.
*Warm the ghee on low heat till it melts.
*Transfer all the dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix. *Pour the honey and ghee and mix thoroughly. The mixture should be nice and sticky. *Knead the mixture your hands and divide it in 20 portions.
*Wet your palms with a little water, take a portion of the mixture and shape into a ball. Repeat with the rest.
*Place the balls on a plate and allow to cool.
*Store in an air-tight container.
NOTE: Vegans can substitute ghee with coconut oil and honey with jaggery.

Coconut Cacao Energy Bites 👊💥These little bite-sized babies are the perfect protein-packed, nutrient-dense snack! Before your workout, after it, as a mid-day pick-me-up, as a late night sweet treat, in the morning, you name it... You could share them, too. But truth be told, sometimes I keep them all to myself slightly hidden in the fridge so my kids and hubs won’t swipe the whole batch at once 🤫 #momfuel .
To make 36 bite-sized balls/bites, toss 1 cup each of roasted cashews and walnuts into a food processor with 1 cup pitted dates, 1 tab coconut oil, 1 tab cacao powder (I ❤️ @navitasorganics), and 1 tsp each cinnamon and vanilla. Blend for 1 minute until well combined, roll mixture into balls then roll through unsweetened shredded coconut. Place in freezer for 20 minutes and enjoy!!!
One of my favorite sauces, made from home. Plant-based raw version of a aioli 🌱 ⠀
Soak 1 cup of sunflower seeds overnight, then rinse and drain them⠀
Add them into your food processor with the following:⠀
Two stems of fresh thyme, or three drops of essential oil⠀
1/8 of a teaspoon of black pepper⠀
Half teaspoon of air dried pink salt⠀
1 teaspoon of mustard⠀
2 cloves of garlic⠀
A dash of paprika ⠀
Juice from 1/2 of a lemon⠀
** Add water little by little for desired consistency purposes ⠀
** Use less garlic if you’re not a big garlic fan⠀
I love tossing this into a salad, as a dipping condiment, and sometimes even just off the spoon! A really great alternative for hummus even!✨
