We've received a warm response from audiences so far in #Edinburgh for #SwanLake with standing ovations and ★★★★★ from #AllEdinburghTheatre: "For those who come new to the ballet, this is a brilliant adventure. For those who have seen it before, it stands the tests of time and repetition." Join us next week in #Aberdeen at @aberdeenperformingarts, you do not want to miss out. *New workshop - 21 November in #Edinburgh* In this workshop we'll give fabric remnants from @kalopsiac and materials from @scrapstore17 a new lease of life, transforming them into fabulous and functional hardback journals.
First up we'll use stamps and inks to create bold designs on some locally produced linen fabric (donated by Kalopsia), which we'll use to wrap our covers. Next up we'll arrange our pages and bind our books using a nifty french link stitch incorporating tweed off cuts to add a splash of colour and texture.
We'll be using recycled paper to fill our books too, demonstraiting how pre-loved materials can be reused and repurposed to great effect!
You'll leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind A7 journal and the skills to make many more (just in time for Christmas). This workshop is being run as part of OCTAVO FIKA - a creative book exhibition, coordinated by Kalopsia as part of #BookWeekScotland. The exhibition will feature artists, designers, photographers, writers and poets - all expressing their own individual practice in book form.
The workshop will take in Ocean Terminal #Edinburgh in the OCTAVO FIKA exhibition space. For more info and booking, see my Facebook page - link in bio.

Sometimes you do things on an impulse without letting your mind talk you into the cons. The places you visit, the people you meet have a lasting impression on your life. Good or bad, I guess this is how memories are made. This picture will forever be my lane down an offbeat phase of my life. #shadowsoftime#memories#edinburgh
You know when people talk about going out. There's out and then there's out out 👗🥂. If you're going out out, then that's a whole other level of outfit and drinks (hang in there, the point is coming).
This emotion check list 👆 is exactly like that. There's listening to your emotions and then there's listening listening 👂.
Let's say you feel angry or upset about something. If you're listening, you recognise that you're angry. You can feel it but you don't go any deeper than that. You just sit in the rage or upset.
However, if you take the time to listen listen, it will give you insight into your boundaries and your values. It also buys you time to slow down the emotional process so you can respond instead of reacting. When you listen listen to your emotions, you take yourself to a whole new level.

Wee match for Katie. Thanks again for filling my cancellation.
This is 10/10. What are you trying to influence? For me it’s about helping people gain a passion for training & nutrition and hopefully help them make a change or strive to learn more.

Fast forward to 1874 to a group of young Edinburgh men who wished to translate their fine footwork on the dancefloor to that of the football pitch. The Old Town dancehall which they frequented was called the Heart of Midlothian and it was this name which they ‘borrowed’ for their new football club. Their legacy and the legacy of the Old Tolbooth continues to this day. #heartofmidlothianfc#heartofmidlothian#royalmile#edinburgh
We found Tom Riddle's grave! ⚰️ I had such a blast running around the cemetery with @gryffindorpinup, especially when we went hunting for this tombstone at night 👻
Have you visited Tom Riddle's grave? Or ran around graveyards at night because it's quite fun 😂
Sir Walter Scott may be most famous for his novels but did you know he was also a poet? ✍️️️📚 Happy #NationalPoetryDay! Thanks for sharing your lovely shot @marika_molteni of the Scott Monument, one of the largest monuments to a writer in the world.
