E pronto, lá ando eu super afastada das publicações, devido, mais uma vez, à Época de Exames (e desta vez também a uma bela de uma constipação que me veio bater à porta numa altura péssima). Posto isto, uma preocupação que tenho durante estas alturas é reforçar o sistema imunitário com nutrientes via bons alimentos.
Aqui fica o exemplo de um lanche nutritivo: Kiwi (toneladas de Vitamina C); Iogurte (proteína) e All Bran e Granola (hidratos de carbono e fibra), estes dois alimentos conferem ainda pro e prebióticos para reforçar a microbiota (frequentemente chamada flora) intestinal); Sementes de Chia e Linhaça trituradas e frutos gordos da granola (ácidos gordos polinsaturados da série Omega 3 e 6), enfim, e se fosse mais minuciosa continuava por aí adiante.
Isto tudo para dizer que na minha ótica, não há nada como uma alimentação variada e equilibrada, sem grandes restrições, para promover um bom estado nutricional, e, consequentemente, de saúde. 😊🌾

HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS 🍫🥜
Naughty BUT NICE 5 ingredient super easy chocolate peanut butter cups 😋
👩🏻🍳 To make 6...
* melt 90g milk chocolate, 25g coconut oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 60g peanut butter (I used @pbfit.uk ), 30g honey, 1 tablespoon coconut oil
🥜Pour the first chocolate layer into cupcake cases and leave to set in the freezer for 15 minutes.
🥜 Add the second layer of peanut butter and leave to set again before adding your final layer of chocolate.
I did 2 chocolate layers with a peanut butter in between and left to set in the fridge over night!

Seeing our alumni continue their plant-based journey following their visit to #TheRanchMalibu brings us true joy! @nicolewinhoffer joined us in December, 2017. After she left, she realized how good she felt and decided to make a plant-based diet part of her daily lifestyle! Happy Hump Day! I was craving a big bowl of veggies for lunch today. Roasted cauliflower and sweet potato wedges with half a sesame seed coated avocado and white beans with lemon, olive oil, parsley, salt and pepper over arugula. I hope you’re having a great day!

Running your own business requires a lot of time behind the screen, which usually leads to hours of sitting throughout the day. Thanks to my @Fully_us standing desk. I don't have to worry about that. I recently did a complete office makeover with #Fully. I can program my new Fully desk to all the settings I need throughout the day, and depending on what I'm doing, adjust the height with a click of a button. And the Tic Toc Stand Balance Board prevents my feet from getting tired and adds movement when I'm standing (and also low-key makes me feel like a surfer). Needless to say, I absolutely love my new Fully desk!

ask and you shall receive - the highly requested paleo recipe of my oats is here 🥳 this recipe is honestly so easy and ive been eating it on the reg (along with my regular oats of course) and it’s a great way to pack in veggies in the morning to get all those great nutrients! and since it’s paleo, that means it’s also vegan, gluten free and sugar free 🥣 #vegan#glutenfree#paleo.
i don’t abide or commit to any diet, for me that is simply too restricting and enforcing the whole “good and bad foods” trap i was stuck in for a long time 🙅🏻♀️ now that i’m far from that mindset, i simply have preferences, foods that fulfill my stomach and my soul ✨ some days i prefer plant based meals, other days i want a real deal donut from the local bakery! other foods i simply just don’t like (most red meat and most versions of kale 🤢) it’s just about listening to my body and honoring what it wants!.
so if you’re finding that a paleo/vegan/gf lifestyle works for you/is necessary or you want to give this recipe a try simply because it sounds good, then i say go for it and check out the recipe below 🤗 you won’t regret it! #fitstrongshann.
CHOCOLATE PALEO PROTEIN “OATS” 🍫:
MIX the following in a pot,
- 1-1/2c cauli rice (frozen or fresh works)
- spoonful ground flax
- spoonful chia seeds
- spoonful coconut flakes (optional)
- splash of vanilla
- 3/4 to 1c almond milk (only ingredients almonds and water) or water
ONCE mixed all together, put the pot on medium heat on the stovetop and stir until it boils, then turn it to medium-low and let it sit to thicken up. THEN turn on low and add the following,
- 1/4 banana, mashed
- spoonful of coconut cream (only ingredients coconut and water)
- a few sprinkles of crushed walnuts
- 1Tbsp paleo friendly protein powder (i use @nuzest_usa)
TURN up to medium and let flavors combine (you may need a splash of water since it’ll be thick), then once it is all thickened up and combined take the pot off the stove and pour into bowl, top with what you’d like then serve! ENJOY!!!
