It was a great day exploring with Jess, Christian and Mark! Such a beautiful day to be outdoors. Thanks for the visit, walk and dinner! It was fun celebrating turning 30 early with some special friends! #closefriends#dundaspeak#goodtimes
I love it when my couples are adventurous! There’s so much to explore around us! This lovely couple trusted my advice and even though it was cold and windy they rocked their session 😍😍
It reminds me of my childhood. My dad used to take us to so many places to explore our surroundings. Sometimes it would be a beautiful park, other times an abandoned amusement park, etc. It wasn’t always “convenient” but it was always fun! One time, in New Year’s Eve, my dad wanted to take us and our cousins for a hike to a park with waterfalls. My aunt and uncle didn’t let my cousins go because it was too cold. My dad took us anyway. We got sooo sick the next day and my mom wasn’t impressed BUT we had a lot fun. And more importantly, he built memories for us to remember in our adult years ❤️
I want to be like that. I want to provide these kind of experiences to my clients and one day, my children ❤️
What about you?! Are you adventurous?
Facing fears and having the best time with @colemania . A little tour of Webster’s falls and around Dundas Peak. I’m scared of heights but refuse to let my fears stop me . To get out of the falls we had to mini boulder up the side. Fear is a funny thing . I could feel my body wanting to start to shake , I could feel a part of me wanting to scream that I can’t do this. I felt my muscles want to go limp. But I took a deep breath and was more interested in an adventure with my friend so I looked for the next root, the next foothold and worked through it and felt like a million bucks when I got to the top. So much so we just had to go treat ourselves to some Peak hill repeats 🤣🤣 I love this woman for pushing me out of my comfort zone and making me believe that I am capable of doing it! It’s all about mastering what’s in between your ears . So gratitude to a perfect spring adventure, to a raging waterfall whose beating pulse veins through a lush green, moss covered forest 🌳, to my strong body that carries me through and to friends who make life magical #trailrunning#trailrunninglife#conqueringfears#webstersfalls#dundaspeak#hamont#adventure#womensupportwomen#womenwhorun#movingandgrooving#runallthemiles#beautifulplaces#justbreath#mastery#meditation#mothernature#staywild#wearesirens#sisterhood
Hey there! So, its been pretty quiet in my little corner of the internet lately. Lots of life stuff happening in the Hachey family over the past 6 months or so. Some good, and a lot that is really, really tough. So, I've chosen to take a step back from this space a bit to get focus on my amazing family.⠀⠀
However, now that winter is over (Or wait...is it? I'm a very confused #GOT fan...but last night was EPIC!!!) and spring is finally arriving, that means one thing for me...MORE TIME OUTSIDE!!!⠀⠀
Spending time in the outdoors is absolutely essential for my sanity. Whether its hiking, cottage, camping or just hanging out in the warm sunshine, I just need to be outside. I'm always so much happier after spending time in the trees. I ~may~ have been a squirrel in a past life or something...⠀⠀
So, with that in mind, I've been plotting many, many outdoor adventures this year and will be sharing them with you along the way. In fact, this past #mothersday , my little family and I began a pretty epic adventure that I'll share more about this Wednesday!⠀⠀
I've also been revamping my website and cooking up a few more surprises for my amazing clients so those who have worked with me in the past, stay tuned for a very special email coming just to you over the next week.⠀⠀
So catch me up! What have you been up to lately? Do you have any amazing adventures planned this spring or summer? Enquiring minds want to know!⠀⠀
Ive never wrote a story in my captions but today’s the day. . . . . Let me start by saying that I love spencer gorge/Webster’s falls area. Tews falls is one of my favourite around. I’ve been there on multiple occasions and have had some of my best hikes down to the bottom of the falls, always enjoying my time. I can’t say yesterday’s visit was enjoyable at all. Now, I understand the residents issues of too much traffic in the area, pollution, and blah blah blah reasons for introducing this shuttle bus bullshit to and from spencer gorge/Webster’s falls and I respect that, to an extent... Personally, Thats not for me and I think it’s pretty bullshit. Besides the point.. If I want to respectfully find a parking lot that’s LEGAL to park at and WALK into the spencer gorge, I shouldn’t be threatened with a $200 parking ticket by some headup her ass wanna be cop that has no idea what she’s talking about. She couldn’t even explain herself when I told her that there is not a single sign of ANY sort stating not to park. Then she continued to threaten us saying that we can take the chance but will be ticketed. Knowing she’s wrong we parked anyway and walked into the spencer gorge area. Of course, we were never ticketed. My point is: These people already destroyed the experience of Spencer Gorge area by this busshit and cutting off the path from Webster’s to tews! Now they wanna destroy experiences more by threaten people with impossible $200 parking tickets to make you take their bus. Like, fuck off with your shuttle bus bullshit.. Won’t EVER be going back on a weekend.
Canada at it’s finest with all the colours of the season. If you are looking to see fall foliage in Ontario there is absolutely no better place than Dundas Peak. Come for the colours, stay for the city, or at least take a minute to explore it too 😉Photo by @radha.j#myhamilton#dundaspeak .
