“Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.” I am feeling so grateful today. I will be starting coaching soon and my officiating classes are almost over. When the season starts next month I’ll be back on the lacrosse field! I spent time with a friend working on resources to help my team succeed. I’m currently snuggling Cheeto and then back to work until class tonight.
It feels like things are starting to fall into place and I am loving this feeling.

Opportunities are all around you – it is YOU that has to make the choice.
You have to decide to get up early;
You have to decide to have the salad;
You have to decide to go for the walk; 🤸♀️🤾♀️🧘♀️
You have to decide if your current life is enough – or do you want more? Do you seek change?
Are you going to decide to walk through the door of change?
Double tap if YOU are going to be the difference today?

What is your biggest fear in life?
Mine is to look back at my life and and say “I wish I never let others influence me into not being all I can be”
People around us although sometimes meaning well will try to turn you off from chasing your dreams. Not because your goals and desires are “not realistic” or “stupid” but because they cannot see how you can achieve it, this has nothing to do with you tho, the inadequacy is in them.
They are scared by your ambition and fear that they will not be able to keep up and are fearful that they will be left behind.
My approach to the nay sayers may be different to the normal “leave them behind” or “f% #k the haters”. It’s actually the opposite... Chase your dreams, give everything you have to everything you want. Ignore the temporary negativity or nah sayers, achieve as much as you possibly can, be humble, be happy and inspire those who doubted you to follow in your footsteps and dare to achieve more for themselves.
Let’s always give back when we can, even to those who try to tear us down the most.
Jobs fill your pockets, adventure fills your soul. 🛫
Y’all know I LOVE to travel! And before every trip, I used to workout like crazy, I’d go super hard core on a meal plan.
I always wanted to tone up before I took tons of pictures that of course would end up all over my social media accounts!! But then I’d binge on vacation because I LOVE FOOD! I love experiencing culture through food, and learning about new places by what they eat! And so the cycle continues.
This vacation was different. I didn’t need to do a 30 day challenge or eat broccoli and salmon every day (although I do like broccoli and salmon 💁🏻♀️) Why?!? Because I maintain a healthy weight without crazy exercise plans. I don’t kill myself meal prepping everyday. PTKs have given me the freedom to get off the roller coaster and just make healthy choices!
Here’s to never looking back!
What are some beliefs you have about yourself that prevent you from living the life you dream of? ✨
For me- it’s always been that I’m not good enough. I’m not a good enough dancer, I’m not a good enough teacher, I’m not a good enough artist. I was obsessed with the idea that what I created had to be perfect. Do you know what they say about perfect? It is the enemy of the good. ✨
Do not let the fear of failure and the desire for perfection prevent you from creating good things. Put yourself out there and trust you will learn what needs to be learned along the way.
Surround yourself with people who are also creating good things and you will be amazed at what the universe starts to hand you.
Do you agree that suffering is a necessary must? 🤔.
I think the lesson is that in order to reach the clouds you gotta suffer and work with dirt first💩.
There are no shortcuts in life, you must suffer the setbacks, the haters, the times you fail and cannot scale at something, all these things are part of life💯
But It is your decision of what you will do to overcome those windows of hardships👊
