I’m so glad I decided to place this water color picture of the mountains here in the kitchen. I LOVE looking at it and as a mom I’m in the kitchen a lot! Haha I wish I remembered who this was by because it’s definitely one of my favorites. .
This Friday and Saturday you want to make sure you stop in‼️‼️. ALL our unpainted furniture on the floor is 40% OFF. We’d like to clear the floor to introduce a new little something We have up our sleeve, but can’t if we don’t have the space. We are known for our quality pieces at already affordable prices, so there’s definitely no better time to come grab a piece and some paint. .
This is a purchase and carry event, meaning items must leave the store by the end of the business day. Delivery is not available (the truck will be at the antique show) and these pieces are not available for custom painting. .
New item i created just havent shared yet. The pink art is a piece you can buy from kmart (was on sale for $6 not available now). I turned it into a beautiful white mirrored bedhead for miss 6 (almost7) bedroom. The mirrors are actually acrylic and not real mirrors (im not that silly) #kmart#kmarthack#creativity#diyhomedecor#diy
After finally getting the concrete countertop in place I was just too excited and had to see what the sink will look like! 🥰 Now, no one’s going to be brushing their teeth in here any time soon... but we are getting there!!
SWIPE ➡️ FOR BEFORE .
We are so happy to start closing out big projects. After this master bath is done we should be able to move along faster. But it is so hard renovating an entire home while working a full time job!! Patience has been my best friend these past 9 months 😭!!
VOCÊ ME CONHECE?
Planning, planning, planning.
Nothing like cold brew dates to get those creative juices going. Ryan and I love exploring South Florida and taking full advantage of all the new donut shops, I mean coffee shops. These food halls, or as Ryan calls them, “fancy food courts” are great space for creative thinking and working in the day time and gathering for a casual dinner and drinks. We are here to get work done!
I am definitely not a visual person, I need things written down and put on paper to visualize a space. That’s our main goal today. We are excited to finally see what was put in paper becoming a reality.
Prior to our renovation we did a lot of DIY projects partially for budgeting reasons and Ryan’s passion for woodworking.
One of the projects Ryan undertook for me was a dining room table....with a strict timeline 😂
We inherited his brother’s glass counter height dining table with barstools. It was very modern, uncomfortable and extremely high maintenance— ALL THE FINGERPRINTS. At the time I just graduated nursing school and was starting to study for the NCLEX.
Being pregnant and sitting at an uncomfortable table and constantly getting down and climbing up my chair to study was impossible. So in a labor of love (aka threatened lovingly), my wonderful husband built me this table.
I’m sad it won’t be joining us in our new dining area (as Ryan has outgrown it and wants to build something better fitted for the space) but excited for what we can think of next!
< #ThemeBirthdayParty + #Ad > 🎶 The wheels on the bus go round and round 🎶 when it plays all day long, both in your house, and in your head (of course, with the little one reciting it in the background), then it ought to be your kiddos birthday party theme, right!? 🎉 If you guys know me then you know my love for planning parties and DIY'n everything myself, especially when it's Aarush's birthday - it's a labor of love! 🥰 While his birthday was right after we got back from Morocco, and with little time on hands before our family flew in to celebrate his milestone, I was running around to get everything in order and planning/making/designing all the deets 😰 But I left handling the birthday theme cake to the experts @thesweetsideseattle and can we all agree that they did a great job on short notice! I mean, look at that too cute to eat details on that yummilicious cake (swipe right), and any guesses what my baby boy went for at once? 🎂😋 If you are in the Seattle area and looking for any type of specialty cakes then look no further. More about his b'day party(ies) coming to the blog soon 🎈P.S: This was a month ago 😜
