Enjoying a marvelous dinner at West End Tavern overlooking the West Arm Grand Traverse Bay. The perfect ending to wrapping up the TC Health &Wellness Craft & Vendor Show at the Grand Traverse Civic Center.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! For those of you missing your dads today, my heart goes out to you, too.
♥️ We had a rainy day here, so we spent a lazy afternoon watching movies together. Simple pleasures.
The boys were excited to present their dad with our little DIY sign. It was a top secret operation, and my hubby had to stay out of the garage while we glued the letters on.
How did you spend your day?
For Father's Day this year, I made babe a basket of everything he loves. He is a HUGE foodie and loves almost any and every sweet( the exact opposite of me) so I got him his favs with a few trinkets. My fav trinket has to be this Superman mug that says he's a super dad. How adorable right?! What did you get the men in your life for Fathers Day? [[ COMMENT BELOW]]
One of my greatest fears is horrible dry af dragon winter skin!! 😆🤮 #ExBeautyTherapist here just keepin it real!!.
My ideal...the ‘glow’...healthy looking, moisture rich and natural looking tanned skin for me thanks!! 💁🏻♀️. And while our skin is a reflection of our inside health, there are of course a couple of easy steps we can do to create a ‘glow’ even in winter! 👇🏼.
✨ DRY BODY BRUSHING //.
This is SO easy and so beneficial to more than just your skin! Take a body brush (so many around or online) and brush in circular strokes starting at your feet towards your heart before hopping in the shower. Benefits include; stimulating your lymphatic system (the system that removes toxins from your body), aids detoxification, boosts circulation, exfoliates your skin + helps to reduce cellulite 👌🏼.
✨ DIY BODY SCRUB //.
One of the products I can’t believe people pay money for is body scrubs...the ingredients are literally available in your pantry for 1/8 the price and minus the toxic chemicals! The same god dam ingredients minus chemicals!! 🤯
So simple too; 1 cup raw sugar or ground coffee + 1/2 cup fco or olive oil + 10 drops of whatever essential oil you’d like! Done! Some great oils to use on the body - Cypress (oil of motion and flow to move things out of the body), Grapefruit (detoxification, skin health, cellulite) or Lemon (lymphatic cleansing, skin revitaliser, fluid retention) 🍋.
I do a body scrub once a week and body brushing twice a week and apply a self tanning moisturiser daily to maintain healthy skin! 🌿.
Do you use a body brush and scrub?? So simple yet sooo effective! 🥰
Happy Saturday, friends! 👋🏼 I’ve worn these Yanta Overalls ~5 times before I actually got a nice photo in them on top of a parking garage in Los Angeles 🤩 (literally it was my boyfriend’s idea to come up here for the pics - isn’t he the best?!?!)
I’ve worn them in planes, to brunch, while fabric shopping, and so much more - comfort level is seriously 10/10, y’all 😎 I’ve already made another pair in denim!!
Fabric: linen blend from @joann_stores
Pattern: #YantaOveralls from @helens__closet
Changes: Shortened an inch in bodice and an inch in the rise, graded in from the waist to the hips by a little over and inch on both sides.
