Moana is the best Disney princesses/heroines movie, don't @ me. It's the only one in which there's no mention of romance in the plot (because Merida -a Pixar film, btw- doesn't have a love story, but the whole story starts because she wants to free herself from marriage - which is great! It's just that Moana's better, because:) who would have thought that women could have other interests, like traveling the seas, discovering new places, saving the world? Shocking!
I want to dedicate this one to all my amazing friends, whom I love very much, and who are as inspiring as Moana to me.

🎵”See the line where the sky meets the sea?
It calls me.
And no one knows, how far it goes.
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me.
One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go.”🎵

I'm glad Megara exists because she's one of the few heroines I can genuinely connect with, especially with my fear of emotional attachment to people. It gets tiring seeing all these princesses believe in true love while I'm someone who's been hurt by the expectations of it. Knowing Meg can relate makes me feel less alone about it.
Mod Note: Hi folks! Just wanted to let you know that we are changing the shape of confessions so it’s fluid between tumblr and instagram. Don’t worry, it’s still us!
Oh, don’t you fret Sally. Jack will notice you...at the end of the movie. First he has to ignore your advice, take you for granted, and realize you were right all along. Ug, men! 🤣 #therealhero#nightmarebeforechristmas
