ATTRACTION BASED UNIVERSE
I’m a big believer that we live in an attraction based universe in which nobody can assert themselves into our experience. The beliefs we hold, and the continued focus upon those beliefs is what creates the reality around us. We have the power to control our reality even in situations in which most people would feel helpless.
The other day I left a dive bar around 2 a.m, and embarked on a walk back home to my Airbnb. Suddenly two guys crossed the street and started approaching me. I felt a palpale shift in the energy around me, and found myself in a heightened state of awareness. I could feel that the intentions of the two guys were not positive. In a somewhat confrontative tone they asked me if I knew of a good place to have some fun. In that moment I remembered that they don’t have the ability to assert themselves into my experience if I don’t match their energy and intentions. So instead of responding to them in fear or aggression, I decided to ignore the violent reality they were trying to create, listened to my inner guidance, and started having a calm positive conversation with them. Immediately I could sense a confusion within them because I wasn’t engaging in the way the expected me to. One of the guys started getting fidgety, and suddenly I saw him removing brass knuckles from his right hand and putting it his pocket. They shook my hand, wished me a good night, and disappeared into the shadows of the night.
For me this was another powerful example that the Law of Attraction really does govern our universe, and that we have the ability to create our reality with deliberate thoughts and focus. So next time you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation, just remember that you have the power to focus yourself into alignment with the wellbeing that always flows to you.

✨ had such a fun week at Mississippi State University! I love college campuses - so full of life! Excitement, passion and tons of eager kids - constantly learning & growing. The south is one of my favorite places in the US.. the people are sweet and the food is always seasoned perfectly. First college down, six more to go, bring it on! Thanks for the memories - until next time @msstate
Let’s all put a hand together for this guy who is a logistical king, always find me coffee in the morning, is adventurous and skilled in so many ways and puts up with me. I had a bit of moment today of ranting and was a bit of a dick. Sorry about that. It’s cool we’re friends again, only took 500 metres 👌🏻♥️
I see this situation all too often.⠀
I enter a meeting with a prospect, they go on to telling me how the #1 problem they have in business is not having enough new people walk through their door each month.⠀
I then ask “What do you think will help you bridge the gap from where you are now, to where you want to be?”⠀
They then respond “an effective marketing campaign.”⠀
We show then show them a system/campaign that has worked for our past clients within the same niche.⠀
I then ask “Do you believe a system like this will work for your business?” ⠀
99% of the time it is a yes. Great 👌🏼⠀
Now it comes down to the close...⠀
*Out comes every stall, excuse, and objection in the book*⠀
Okay, let’s go over this again. You had me out here for a reason, you have a problem that you want solved. We just showed you a system that has worked for multiple of our past clients with in the same niche, which you yourself believes will work to solve the #1 problem that you are currently having in your business. Yet, you are now self sabotaging yourself from solving your #1 problem.⠀
Mainly the self sabotaging is fueled from past experiences and emotions, I understand the defense mechanism. It’s human nature to protect yourself.⠀
The only thing is, you wouldn’t stop talking to the opposite sex just because the first one you ever talked to shut you down. Yes, it is harder to take the leap of faith the next time around, but you wouldn’t completely stop trying.⠀
This is why action takers win my friends!⠀
If nothing changes . . . nothing changes.
Day before departure clean up! .
Full Jeep clean out, rig vacuum, more donations, laundry, dog brushing, storing the decor that isn’t tied down, plugging the grey water tank for a full flush....all the chores after 2 weeks of sitting add up 😳
Add a little Jeep roof leak & we are in full bore deep clean & dehumidifying mode 💦 .
How much time does it take you to deep clean your set up before you pull out?
As I continue to build a home base here in Vancouver, prepare to start a new remote 9-5 contract on Monday, and plan my winter in Mexico... I feel like I’m sprinting through life transitions.
Change is good. 📷 Captured by my good friend @TheNikV

I am in the midst of a very wonky weekend with a lot going on. Generally Saturdays are reserved for long hikes but with a party last night, having to work tonight, doing cleaning and laundry and plans for tomorrow, there will be no long hikes this weekend, and that makes me anxious.
People in the past have called me "hard core" which, maybe is meant as a compliment, but it actually really bothers me when they say it. Because for me, the reason I push so hard isn't to show off or that I expect others to do the same, it's a symptom of anxiety.
I grew up overweight and awkward and have always put pressure on myself to maintain a certain level of fitness. I am not hard core, I am trying to keep progressing rather than falling backward.
With a strenuous backpacking trip next weekend I have been anxious all week about finding time to hike. Because I feel I have to. Because in my mind, one weekend off is going to destroy everything, and I'll basically end up like a newborn deer trying to walk for the first time. It's an anxiety issue and yesterday when my brain was going round and round about it, I had to say "Kristin, it's okay to take some time off."
Whether you drive, walk, hike, paddle, swim, every view around the corner of Norway is epic!!! Breathtaking. This was one of those places that a photo (my iPhone) just simple doesn’t do it justice.
Norway inspired me (or more like challenged me) to give up the idea of trying to capture such amazing views and try to enjoy it — experience it in real life.
. #lovenorway 🇳🇴 so much that it’s back on my bucket list — places to revisit!!!!
📍What place or country is on your bucket list to visit?
One of our recent posts mentioned how we took a wrong turn and ended up getting lost on one of our walks...
THIS is how lost we were, but it made a nice photo when Steven was scouting out the area to figure out which direction to take next so we could get back in time for dinner 😝
We won't discuss how many spiders and other creepy crawlies we came across, all the while I (Elsa) was wearing flipflops and a maxi skirt for our "short walk"🤦🕷️🐍🌲
Still glad we experienced it though! 🤟

Ever wondered what it would be like to grow up in a place like Mussoorie?😍
I was in a boarding school in Mussoorie for 10 years and Manas was studying in Dehradoon then. Mussoorie has been special to both of us and we have really fond childhood memories of this town and it's mall road. Wouldn't it have been fun if we knew each other back then?😋 ______________________________________

🚌 Honk, honk! We bought a bus!
Why?! Valid question:)
We are converting her into a tiny home on wheels. She will have beds, a bathroom, washer/dryer combo, itty bitty kitchen and seats for 6. We will drive her all around North America and tie in as many of our trips to what the kids are learning about in their studies.
This bus allows us to hit the road when we can, but keeps us close enough to family, friends and community; always having our home base to return to.
First up, Colorado in October... IF we can get the conversion done in time. And that’s a big if. Every night is being dedicated to this gal right here! If you follow any Skoolie families please tag them below, I need all of the inspiration I can get!
Here goes nothing!! 🚌 🚌 Follow our conversion and adventures at @theYESfamily
