Jason Eady just released his seventh album, I Travel On. It's a great and groovy take on classic country from the mature and classy songwriter. Jason from Jackson, Mississippi was born with Lower Delta music flowing all around him. His dad gathered enthusiast for country- and bluegrass sessions that inspired Jason, who soon got going himself. By 15, sporting a fierce Patrick Swayze look, young Eady started playing local honky-tonks needing his dad's company to get in. Tried and tired of Nashville, Jason spontaneously joined the Air Force, serving as Arabic translator for six years. After salaaming the military, Jason got a new general in Fort Worth, Texas where he found family with indie country ace Courtney Patton. The missus sings harmonies on the new album, which is a warm, wise and rhythmic production where Eady uses his road band to let the organic sound shape the words. .
