There’s going to be bumps in the road. There’s going to be set backs. There’s going to be days where you wonder what the heck you’re even doing. You’ll wonder what happened to your motivation and drive. That same fire that you had from the start is still there, sometimes all you need is a little spark. I guess I should put something about like... your only competition is yourself... or pushing yourself... or something else that would go with staring at yourself in the mirror. But you know me,
I won’t 🤷🏻♂️So, if ya read this far, sorry to disappoint! If you gave up again, you have a very short attention span! Now... you know what to tell me. 💪
⛹🏾♂️Out of The Box = GROWTH
🏀Doing something that is foreign or completely new can only help you develop new skills or reinforce current ones. Either way, trying new drills is BENEFICIAL. 🏀This was the first day to try this one and it took roughly 20 minutes of non stop effort to find a rhythm. Even at that, I wasn’t able to keep it going for more than 30-40 seconds at a time. 🏀Benefit: In my own personal opinion, this drill helps with SPIN MOVES. Cupping the ball and keeping it UNDER CONTROL is paramount during various spin moves. Otherwise, you’ll just end up with turnovers. 🏀Two other benefits are 1) building strength in the shoulders, arms and hands. WARNING: you may want to stretch your biceps before this one. Don’t bother looking at my biceps...I don’t have any🤦🏾♂️. 2) Hand speed is definitely put to the test with this one. This drill will feel so AWKWARD in the beginning but stick with it and find the groove!
🏀Building block: I’m gonna stick with this drill for quite some time as I know this is only step one in achieving my new goal. 👉🏾To do this drill with two basketballs!
