I had been meaning to do this review since I last finished wicked saint 3 days ago. So as promised I will review. Okay where to start with this one. I did enjoy it but there was bits I did not like. I will start of with the positive. I loved the dark vibes with this one a very gothic atmosphere and personally really enjoyed the magic system very complex. Disclaimer it can be triggering so keep that in mind. Self harm and parental abuse.Very dark which is probaly why I liked it lol The whole concept with nadya's magic , being able to speak with the gods was very interesting. This book was filled with betrayal anticipation , and some very good twists mostly towards the end so overall very good book. And omg we were blessed with a character such as malachiasz !!❤ I think it was his character I enjoyed the most and the reason I kept reading. Now on to the negative. I think it did start of very slow for me there was a few times the author would loose me a little. I would of liked it if there was more history or just more details on the magic. The plot was somewhat lacking I think the author could of executed the story a whole lot better, was to fast paced at times. And for anyone saying this is just grisha 2.0 you are not wrong. In so many ways the stories are very simmilar. Nadya being Alina and malachiasz being the Darkling. Their relationship was a bit cringe at times I did ship them but just the way it all went down I did not completely agree .But two completely different stories I would still reccomend. Overall i think I am giving it 3.75/5🌟🌟🌟🌟. #bookstagram#bookreview#biblio#reading#instabooks#fantady#darkfantasy#wickedsaints # aprilreads #readingislife#easter

Meet the Lord of #Eidolons , a #supervillain with a truly unfathomable way of seeing things! Swipe to see his first lieutenant!
My eyes trailed down to her hand where she took a blade, the wound decorated with golden thread that glistened against her ebony skin.
“Does it hurt?” I asked her.
She glanced up before taking another drink from her bottle. I turned away and stared at the plate of fruit on the table. I bit my lower lip and grabbed a blueberry when she finally spoke.
“Mastah neva hurts Sin. Sin likes to please Mastah.”
I slipped the berry between my lips and let the sweet juice spray across my tongue. The burning in my stomach began churning once more, my mouth salivating, my body burning. My hands grasped my stomach as it was turning over, wincing at the intense bite.
“When will it stop hurting?”
She clicked her tongue, leaning back on her elbows, “Eat.”
My left arm wrapped around my stomach while my right reached for a handful of grapes. I tossed one then two back biting down and feeling the cool sensation run down my spine.
“Da burnin’ neva goes away.” She raised her bottle again. “Sin, enjoys da burn. Sin is stronger den you.”
My stomach gurgled again, the burning wrenching me to lean forward.
“Eat,” she said again. “Or Sin will force you to eat.”
I turned away from Sin and began grabbing the grapes, berries and melons. My fingers, cheeks and fingers covered in the sweet juices. Juice dripepd down my chin and onto chest and dress. When I saw the stain on my peplos, my eyes widening, my hands dropping the fruit onto the table.
“Mm!” I gasped with a full mouth of food.
My hands dragged under my chin to stop anymore juices from dirtying my dress.
“It’s fine.” Sin said. “Mastah will give you a new one.”
I turned around and swallowed most of the fruit whole, coughing for air.
“Are you sure?”
Sin tossed the furs over her body, burying herself in the bed.
“Sin bleeds on ‘er clothes all da time.”
“Is that why you’re always naked?”
She cackled, “No. Sin is naked cause Sin likes it.”
I flashed a smile, looking down at the purple stain at the rim of my peplos.

Well boys and girls, I’ve got something very special to share today. I now own a copy of the signed, limited edition of Stephen King’s Desperation that Donald M. Grant published in 1996. Although Grant hasn’t published too many limited editions, when they do, they really go all out. This comes in an beautiful tray case, a leather cover, and fantastic full-color artwork by Don Maitz (who signed this along with King). They printed over 2,000 copies of this one, which high for an edition like this. But that means it’s fairly affordable on the secondary market, considering all that you get.
BIG NEWS ⚠️ Next Saturday I will have a stand at L'EngrenAge on the Concorde Atlantique in Paris! I will be selling prints and showcasing Paris Est A Nous and my work so tell me if you want to see something in particular 🖤
More info and link for the event on my Facebook post.
