Gstaad is just over the border in the german-speaking region of Switzerland. Hotel Huus was styled by a Swedish designer; Huus means homely and the lobby is decorated with kooky art and weird objects like you’re hanging out at someone’s house who’s travelled the world and brought back souvenirs from every location.
Survived the “Dragon Ride” gondola at Mount Pilatus! I’m a big baby about heights, but luckily I had people to hold my hand on the 30 minute ride 😂
The views, restaurant & hotel at the top were more than worth it. Loved every second, @pilatus.
🇨🇭 Murten, or Morat, is a German- and French-speaking medieval town on the southeast shore of Lake Murten, in western Switzerland. Its defensive walls offer views of the lake and the decorated arcades of the old town. The Murten Museum has archaeological finds and a multimedia display about local history. Nearby, the baroque German Church has a 15th-century wooden pulpit, a stucco ceiling and a Gothic choir. 🇨🇭
The Borgund Stavkirke In Norway. This looks a little creepy...😬 Would want to explore???
