I really don’t like driving but I prefer my independence 😩 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀My mom raised my twin brother and I to be pretty independent with some moments of tough love lol. I hated it but helped a lot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ The downside was that getting older I didn’t want anyone to do ANYTHING for me. Everything had to be on my own. Eventually I had to relax and understand that not everyone is out to get me lol and that it’s okay to receive help every once in a while. A lot of the things I’ve done was thanks to the support of others. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do you feel asking people for help? Not doing it or is it needed?
Sexta feira foi dia de um evento lindo promovido pela @soulpowerbrasil e @lojabeauty1. Tô louca pra usar os produtos que recebi e gravar resenha pra vcs. Eu já uso a marca e adoro, tem até vídeo lá no canal.
For all the damage I did, my curls were very forgiving!
All the bleaching, daily flat ironing, blow outs, perms, keratin, and everything else I could do to not keep it natural, yet they're thriving. It's taken time, work and patience, but now that I've shown my hair the proper love, it's loving me right back.
Are you willing to get your act together and love your natural hair too? There's a whole community here willing to help you do that.
Where to start? Go check out my "CGM 101" highlight to see how I've been caring for my curls.
Next find some accounts that will inspire and teach you how to love your curls. Some of my favorites: @themestizamuse@powerdomi@hif3licia@curlicue_lu@firstname.lastname@example.org@reallifecurlygirl@curlygallal@honestlizhere@marisascurls
Lastly, be willing to learn, trial, have wins and take losses, embrace the frizz, and deep condition, lots and lots of deep condition! Lol ❤🦁🌀
