I've posted the 'Beginners art and culture guide to Paris' yesterday on my blog (link in a bio for more info).
One of the tips I gave there is that a great way to get a feeling of a city and a good introduction to its neighbourhoods and history is by taking a walking tour.
I've joined one of the 'Introduction to Paris' tours organised by @contexttravel and, although it wasn't my first time in Paris, it was great to understand how the city grew and how that infamous Parisian lifestyle developed over the centuries. I loved that there were only five of us in a group and our guide was an American writer living in Paris for years (hmmm... almost like we were guided by Ernest Hemingway himself).
What are your tips for the first time visitors in Paris?

Questa foto perché:
-ho talmente tante foto di Amsterdam che ve le pipperete più o meno fino a giugno.
- nonostante il cielo grigio il mio umore era soleggiato.
-stavo meglio lì.
These are some shots I got from the Arashiyama bamboo grove in Kyoto when I visited a little while ago. Being such a popular tourist destination, it was hard getting a decent shot here. I've also uploaded the full version of these photos on my story, check it out for some massive scale. 🎋 On a side note I just went to the wrong airport in Tokyo and the will probably miss my flight, k bye.

Night markets in Marrakech ✈️ One day I woke Ali up circa 4.30am, handed him a packed bag and told him we were flying to Morocco for his birthday. SUPRISE!!! The 48hrs that followed were a blunder of confusion tbh 😂 Poor guy. But we ate epic food, explored beautiful gardens, Ali had a cooking lesson (which resulted in a life long love of tagine), and I bought all of the available ceramics from the souks 👌🏼 Love love Morocco 🇲🇦

It’s 2 degrees in London right now and I just cannot understand the people walking around with just a light jacket on like it’s nothing. #imsocold 🥶
One of the best breakfasts I’ve had this year was on our trip to Dublin @meetmeinthemorning. Joe and I ended up splitting these which was one of the best ideas I’ve had this year. I’d go back here in a heartbeat + recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. It’s small, so get there early for a table (or to nab the prime window spot 💁♀️) PS. Anybody else enjoy saying silly things like “this year” all the time or just me? #KellyinIreland 🇮🇪
I'm having a hard time writing a caption tonight, I think the Blue Monday effect only kicked in today, and the cold weather doesn't help, I just want to spend my days watching movies wrapped in blankets like a burrito 🙈 Who saw the snow today? ❄️ Do you think we will see London covered in snow this winter? 🧡
📸 Instagram ☝️☝️ versus reality: freezing my butt off in a denim jacket and dress, while hoping and praying no one opens their front door to find me standing there smiling like a goon😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You've got to suffer for your art (or a pretty pink door) right?! Anyway, I'm not sure how *every year* I forget how cold London gets in January, but damn it's freezing! ❄️❄️❄️ I've been making a hot water bottle each night to take with me to bed, and I can highly recommend this trick to keep frosted fingers and toes at bay 🔥
I hope your week has gotten off to a great start 😊 and for those of you who are still awaiting pay day, I feel your pain 😬😬💸💸💸 ⠀⠀⠀⠀
