BUOY was last night hot!! 😩
I shared some commentary on my Insta story last night regarding the subject - not to be negative or "have a whinge" but simply because some days living this lifestyle are bloody hard! (..And anyone that tells you otherwise is 150% LYING TO YOU!)
That doesn't take away from its greatness though, it merely contributes to it. For myself, I'm not here to paint a picture of false positivity; I'm here to be honest with myself and therefore honest with others too..
For various reasons it wasn't as easy as usual to cool off and I went to some extremes to cater for my over-heated dog and it was rough to see her like that, I was able to ease the problem slightly and it started to rain again which helped with the temperature enough to be able to finally get to sleep. #thankgod
Anyway! Today we're on the coast of Gladstone where it's still crazy hot but not impossible to cool down, before heading west for the weekend in an attempt to avoid the cyclone that's coming!! 😐🤦♀️
This place is so beautiful and I wish we could stay longer but alas it is not so.. Respect goes to the Bailai and Gooreng Gooreng people, traditional owners of this land. 🙏✨ .
My kind of Christmas trees! 🙌🏼
I must admit I’m being a bit of a grinch this year, no Christmas decorations, no Christmas movies & no Christmas food. 🙈 Just give me some flowers and get me to a beach and I’ll be happy! 🙌🏼 Is anyone else feeling the same?? 🌸
G’day from Sydney! We’re all settled in to our little Airbnb in North Sydney and slamming TimTams like nobody’s business (well, I am anyway).
Working remotely like this has been a dream of mine for years, so I’m feeling extremely blessed and grateful to be wrapping up my work week from here 🙌🏻
P.S: swipe right for a vintage shot of yours truly from the last time I was on the Sydney Harbour Bridge 13.5 years ago!
#tbt to lavender fields FOR DAYS, at the "Emu Bay Lavender Farm" on Kangaroo Island, Australia!
Lavender is one of my favourite plants! I love using it as aromatherapy during massage, or as an addition to an epsom salts bath! To see so many varieties of it in one place, and flourishing like it was, was so memorable!🌏🐨
