Bitcoin ₿ - a purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. 🔥$BTC #BTC#Bitcoin Up over $4,000 USD🔥
Repost from ShareCrypto: The CEO of Tesla and cryptocurrency enthusiast, Elon Musk, has once again spoken in favor of decentralized currency, stating that a day could come when it will eventually replace paper money.
In a recent episode of ARK Invest’s FYI podcast hosted by Tasha Keeney, “On the Road to Full Autonomy With Elon Musk,” the Tesla CEO spoke about the developments underway at Tesla and about cryptocurrencies, with reference to the future of finance and technology. Keeney referenced the dire financial situation in Africa, where currency restrictions prohibit citizens from converting their currency and forcing them to, at times, go through the US dollar. In light of the same Musk replied, “It bypasses currency controls. Paper money is going away and crypto is a far better way to transfer value than pieces of paper.” Despite Musk’s positive stance on cryptocurrencies, his appreciation for the structure of top coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum and his affirmation that eventually decentralized currency will takeover paper money.
However, the Tesla CEO clarified that his company will not start selling Bitcoins anytime soon.
Do you think crypto will be the future of finance?

GJ1m. Win in chart but lost in $. This was a result of my lack of experience in the forex market. First thing I learned, don’t trade during the “carry over” or “overnight” cut off time which is 5 PM EST. Not only volatility is shitty but broker charges swap fees as result of “carrying” a particular currency over night and the difference in interest must be paid or sometimes, get paid, depending on interest difference of the two currencies determined by the central banks. Nonetheless, don’t trade in this black hole session. Second thing I learned, the pip difference of ask and where price is currently is called spread. And this fking spread can be as wide as 10 pips (what I’ve seen so far). I would think that the spread will be narrower during high volume sessions. I have the ask line turned on now. I won’t get burnt again. Last lesson learned is that from 3 AM - 12 PM EST is when the most volume flows (London and NY overlap). Hours suck for forex traders living in US! I am considering to work graveyard shift..
Financial centers like New York and London might be home to the hustle and bustle of equity and currency trading, but in the world of cryptocurrency, traditional hubs rank down the list.
According to a December exchange report by CryptoCompare, a global digital currency data provider, the country that facilitated the largest volume of cryptocurrency exchange trading is a small island in southern Europe with a population of less than half a million: Malta.
In December, Maltese exchanges processed just under $40 billion worth of digital currencies, more than second-place Hong Kong with $32.5 billion and twice as much as the U.S., the fifth largest hub for crypto exchange trading.\“It’s home to some of the largest exchanges who have chosen to set up shop as they [Malta] have carved out a crypto-friendly regulatory atmosphere,” said Charles Hayter, co-founder of CryptoCompare.
Malta’s acceptance of the opaque industry moved forward in December, when, along with six other European nations, it signed a declaration to promote blockchain technology. At the signing, Silvio Schembri, Malta’s minister for financial services tweeted: “Proud to see the smallest nation in the EU taking a leading role.” While the U.S. may linger in fifth place, the greenback remains the most popular fiat currency to trade against bitcoin, BTCUSD, +0.39% the most popular digital currency. “In December, 57% of all of bitcoin trading into fiat was made up of the U.S. dollar, while trading into the Korean won decreased significantly since the previous month. Proportionally, bitcoin trading into the USD and JPY increased 14% and 43.4% respectively since November,” wrote CryptoCompare in its exchange review.
Joining Malta, Hong Kong and the U.S. in the top five were Samoa at third and the Seychelles, fourth.

You might think that the differences between professional traders and beginning or struggling traders are great, but I assure you they are not. Trading success does not take an advanced degree in finance or some super-secret trading system. All that is needed is an effective yet simple trading method like the price action trading strategy and a willingness to do what you need to in order to develop positive trading habits. Any trader can do it if they want it bad enough….so, how bad do YOU want it?
