To celebrate this Friday I would like to introduce you to "Kira"
This piece is loaded with texture that catches the light creating ever changing shadows and highlights. Perfect to hold up that "honey do" list on your fridge!
$30.00CAD "Sea Glass" is here....a simple painting with beautiful colors inspired by the soft polished glass you find on the beach.
The simplicity of this piece makes it extremely versatile and it's slight shimmer will draw your eye and brighten any space.
Would love to hear from you guys if there is a particular plant or flower that you would be interested in seeing and a mini abstract.
Leave me a comment below and I'd be happy to give any suggestions a go!
Oh my goodness the timing of reading this is amazing... Does that ever happen to you? What you need to hear/read just happens to cross your path right when you need it to?
To me this passage just confirms that it's okay to be scared and afraid to call myself an artist. I am self taught and often feel this creates a large amount of self doubt.
The possibilities to create a business from work that feeds my soul and fills my heart is both as terrifying and exciting as I've ever been. I think the only feeling that rivals this is when I was pregnant and waiting to hold my babies in my arms.
This opportunity that I never thought would be possible is thanks in large part to this community online, so thank you. Thank you for your likes, and your comments and encouragement.
I hope this Wednesday what you need to see or hear finds you just as this passage found me today.
Passage borrowed from @kpurenaturals and @baileyjst

I am a little bit of a sucker for a rose which this little beauty reminds me of.
I find roses to be so complex, they can be wild or neatly pruned, they have the softest petals and at the same time can stick you, they have so many meanings and there can always be an occasion to give someone the gift of their beauty.
Which type of rose is your favourite? Or if you don't like roses what is your favourite flower and why??
It has been decided! I will call this piece "Resiliance". ☉
I decided on this name for a few reasons... 1. I have struggled this year having being let go and non stop job hunting weighing on my self confidence and self worth.
2. There has been a lot of negative news in the world. Whether it be ongoing war in the throughout the world, sexual assault/harassment and the #metoo movement, and the ongoing shootings and terrorism that seems to be on constant rerun in the news to name a few. And yet throughout all of this I'm constantly in awe of the resilience that is shown by survivors.
3. With its textured yellow bursting through and rising up against the heavy black makes my heart sing and reminds me of the light stamping out the dark, and the good overcoming the bad. ☉
A great reminder for all of us. No matter how big or how small our struggles are with hard work and resilience we can make a difference and we can rise up.
I'd like to introduce you to "Fern".
This little beauty is named after my maternal Grannie who always had green things growing, in her house, in her garden, and on her deck in teapots. 🍃
Whenever I think of my Grannie I usually think of three things
1. Tea parties
3. Ice cream
As I've gotten older I found that age really amplifies how much of an impact someone can have on your life. Because of this I feel it can make the hurt of missing them that much deeper. ☘
And I definitely do not get her green thumb but she did pass along her love of ice cream. 🍦
Miss you Grannie this one's for you.
A lot of people tell me I’m a bit dreamy, but I like the idea of that. Of being somewhere else. 🌌

I invite you to meet "Isla", a beauty full of color and spunk with some softer edges if you look close enough. 💞
Inspired by one of my favourite people in this world the little 1x1 magnet just goes to show how accessible original art can be...it doesn't always have to be a large piece on the wall...it can also be a little piece brightening up your magnet board or fridge reminding you that beauty and art really are all around us.
