6:00 AM on the beach ☁️ ⠀
Lately it's been a bit rainy here on the Gold Coast, which feels really good after so many hot days! ⠀
We're curious, are you having a warm or cold December where you live? ☀️❄️
It doesn’t matter how much pride you have, it doesn’t matter how embarrassing it may be, it doesn’t matter how bad you feel. When you do something that hurts your partner, they need to understand that you know you messed up and and won’t do it again. Everyone makes mistakes, you learn together from those mistakes and push forward. Being open and talking about mistakes will help with communication and trust. It’s better to discuss these issues upfront, together so you can move on to happier times. #relationshipgoals#couplesgoals#couplegoals#couples#happyinlove
If fact, you might have a hard time finding one day where it was 50/50. When you’re in a committed relationship, everyday is going to be work. Some days you do more, some days your partner does more. Finding the balance in a relationship is important, but not always easy. It may take time before the both of you are on the same page. Keep talking, keep listening, work as a team to figure it out. #relationshipgoals#couplesgoals#couplegoals#couples#happyinlove

We tend to “hear” just about everything people say. If you run errands all day you’re going to “hear” people talking, stories being told, etc. . But at the end of the day, you won’t remember what those people were talking about because you weren’t “listening” to their conversation. When your partner is talking to you, or asking for help, or looking for your opinion, make sure you are really “listening” to what they are saying and not just “hearing” it. When you start “listening” to what your partner is saying, they won’t have to keep repeating themselves. #relationshipgoals#couplegoals#couplesgoals#couples#happyinlove

From the start of every relationship you must understand, you will not agree on everything with your partner. It could be small things such as types of foods you both like, what color to paint a room, or what movie to watch. But it can also be bigger disagreements such as where to vacation, when to make a large investment on an item, or something that could potentially impact the future. This doesn’t mean you alway give in to what your partners wants, but you learn to discuss the pros and cons of each major decision that you need to make as a team. Discussing these differences shows you are open minded and that you care about your partners opinion and happiness. #relationshipgoals#couplesgoals#couplegoals#couple#happyinlove

Boundaries could be anything... it could be something that makes them feel uncomfortable, a request they have for alone time or a number of different things. Here’s an example of a boundary. If your partner had a long day and would like to get to sleep early and not be bothered, don’t wake them up because you can’t find something, don’t have the TV blaring so loud that they can’t sleep, don’t try to lay down with them if you’re not ready for bed. All you’re going to do is prevent them from getting the rest they need. They need to trust that if they ask you to do something you will follow through with it. Boundaries aren’t a bad thing, you both just need to be on the same page and understand what they are. #relationshipgoals#couplesgoals#couplegoals#happyinlove#couples
