What do you believe about yourself? Watch the short film on YouTube called ‘The Butterfly Circus’ for a powerful message on mindset and the implications of what our self-belief does for our reality.
While on YouTube, any message by @nickvujicic is well worth the watch. I can’t help but be inspired by the way he speaks!
BIG congrats to our very own Peyton Murphy on her commitment to play lacrosse at West Point. We are extremely proud of you for all of the hard work you have put in and your decision to serve your country. #goarmy#chapslax#commit
Girlfriends gotta stick togethaa 👯♀️ Today we gathered from all different states at our quarterly event, some of us meeting for the very first time after pushing each other via challenge groups month after month.
My heart is sooo filled with joy. I’ve never felt the community that I feel now. We all started with a goal to be better then we’ve ever been, look at us go!
This community gives me hope for a better future. A future where women stick together because we all want the same things and we don’t hide it, we share it.
It was our weak times that lead us to where we are today, brought us together, and motivated us to workout in front of hundreds people. FOR FUN.
We know what weak looks like sister, we’ve been there, but together we rise stronger than ever. We said YES to a better us, and haven’t looked back.
Today only, I’m giving just TWO people the opportunity to get 20$ back when you commit with a friend. So I want you to think of one friend you wanna do this thing with, grab em and DM me a 🍑🍑
P.s. Rossi comin in with the photobomb. 👊🏼

So looking forward to November as it rolls around! Such a good month for so many reasons. Last month of school, first month you can start listening to Christmas music (highly controversial I know sorry guys) thanksgiving, family, warm meals, all things cozy.
November has an especially warm place in my heart because last November was when I took on this health journey full force and joined my first accountability group! It took so much courage to just reach out and ask. But doing so changed me!
November was the first month I followed a meal plan. The first month I completed a whole workout program. The first month I stopped feeling down on myself and started feeling proud of myself. The first month I set aside past failures and just did it. The first month I set aside all my excuses and just committed.
I was in school, I was working, I had project after project to finish. I was busy, but I knew I could make 30 minutes a day for myself, I knew I could follow a meal plan, if I really wanted to, so I did. It will never be “the perfect time” to start. We will always be busy, we will always have excuses. But at some point we’ve just gotta do the thing!
So thrilled as I’m prepping for my November group and reflecting what this year has done for me. November can be your month too! Shoot me a message for more info, I’d love to chat 💕

I know a lot of you saw that amazing transformation I had back in the Spring when I went ALL IN with my 3 month program. I shed 21 lbs and 20 inches. IN 3 MONTHS!!!!!! I actually could see some abs which I never thought this 40 yr old post baby body would be able to do.
But here’s the thing….. life happened….. summer, my car accident, some personal stress, illness…. And somewhere along the way I stopped focusing on my nutrition. I was still working out 5 to 6 times a week but wasn’t really paying attention to what I was putting in my body. Old habits like eating out too much, nibbling off Bruce’s plate started creeping back in, eating too many donut holes at Friday’s team meeting……. I STOPPED putting my health first! It is critical that I take care of myself so I can be the best wife, mom, friend, employee….. I realized that I’ve starting trying to do this all by myself again! Instead of leaning on my team and my community to help me better deal with the stress and to keep me accountable to my nutrition! I just kept trying to restart myself and it just doesn’t work for me. I NEED my community!
So I am linking arms with some fellow coaches who are committing to putting their health first. I am COMMITTING to go ALL IN on a new program starting tomorrow. It is a 10 week program that will take me through to the end of the year and through the Holiday eating season. You’ll be getting all kinds of insight as I go through this program so stay tuned……. .

Difficult? Yes. Complicated? Nope.
You either show up consistently and put in the hard work, or you don’t.

There’s something ironic about most people who hate on you or try to bring you down.
They usually aren’t on your level.
They throw rocks at you from the bottom. In my personal experience...
Very rarely is someone who is hating doing better than I am.
I bet that’s the case in your life as well. Don’t let others bring you down.
Let it rejuvenate you.

Just dreaming of this salad.... again 🥗 .
Where my salad lovers at?! 😉
If you want to see change, you will need to change something you do daily.
Change your words, your thoughts, speak words of your dreams, of who you want to become, not the words of fear and failure. Make a commitment to yourself, sign a contract, make it a priority and it will become a habit.
Gameday Yoga: Half moon pose with Chapasana variation
Intention today was: Commitment.
Commitment is an interesting word. In one definition it is: the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, person, activity, etc. The other is: an engagement or obligation that restricts freedom of action.
I love the first definition. It gives you ownership to do the things you love and to be true to who you really are. In an ideal world, this would be the only way to interpret commitment.
Too often though, commitments end up restricting what it is that we really want.
I have found that I had a hard time saying no or, I don't like x because I didn't want to disappoint the person asking me. Despite not wanting to do whatever it was to begin with.
And that's the rub... When we commit to something other than self we lose our freedom. When push comes to shove in these situations the word commitment or promise is then shackled on to guilt or control. That's when resentment builds. Rather than owning who we are and saying no, I can't do x or, I changed my mind, or things changed, we stay bound and restricted by our word.
What if we stop worrying about disappointing everyone else? Do you know what happens when you tell someone you can't do something? They figure it out. They may be disappointed, but that's ok. They are informed. They will move on. This is a much better outcome than showing up not wanting to be there or worse, backing out last minute.
If we commit to self first, we disable this conundrum.
I had to learn this the hard way. It wasn't until I got physically hurt and couldn't walk that made me realize how overcommitted I was. My body shut down on me. I couldn't teach yoga, I couldn't go to work, I had to bail on all my commitments and just be still and heal, literally and figuratively.
This is what I learned: If you commit to self first, every time you show up for something, you thrive. You are more present. You are engaged. You grow. People notice.
Some will call you selfish and that's ok. That's on them. Unless you fully commit to yourself first you'll never be able to REALLY commit to anything else either. Try it... See what happens
13+ miles of neverending steep/mountainous terrain and 33 obstacles to conquer in order to earn our first Spartan Trifecta. just waiting for the next batch of cookies to come out of the oven 🤤
This is so true!
I was at a seminar one time and the speaker said "decide where you want to be, visualize yourself there and then do the work to get you there." It really stuck with me, because I've never done that before. Sure, I have goals, but I've never visualized what it would look like once I reached that goal.
It's hard sometimes to be positive when obstacles get you down, but if you don't get over that hurdle, you're probably not in the same direction, moving towards your goal anymore, right?
Check yo'self before you wreck yo'self. 😊
Your strength is determined by your mindset. Don't let your mind tell you, "you can't do it" "it's too hard" "I can't finish". Flick that switch inside and start saying "I CAN, I WILL, I MUST." 💪🏼 You must- first for yourself, then for your kids, for your significant other, for your future. #Commit
Veins out, brains out
Leading into peak
the body is saying its done, the quiet questions have crept in, doubt is knocking on the door
The last 2 years i have been burning the candle at both ends between competing in bodybuilding where i have been losing fat for more than 12 months accumulated, studying engineering drafting through night courses, expanding into some projects and opportunities yet to go public and miserably failing at holding a loving relationship. Transitioning into a new career pathway that i am becoming quite at making mistakes in
The voices of those outside looking in question, laugh, mock and i bite my tongue
I know i cant keep this up forever but for the time that i can..... I'll burn as bright as the sun. Im choosing the suffering now to build for the future, i aspire for so much in this life and ill pursue it all. Seeing the small achievements i have made thus far only excited me so much more!! I seriously can't put into words the passion i have to leave no stone unturned in every endeavour i will choose, knowledge and experience is what i seek and I'll burn all that stands in my way
I will not go gently into that good night
I will rage against the dying light
