♡BANANA MUFFIN OATMEAL♡
I love summer but it’s way to hot to enjoy a delicious bowl of oats so now it’s getting into winter it’s the perfect time to start eating more oatmeal and man how I missed it !! Oats are one of my favourite breakfast meals as breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and oatmeal is super filling and satisfying for a breakfast. Did you know oats are high in finer and protein higher than most other grains meaning it is perfect for a post workout meal ! They're a whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.
You really can’t go wrong with a bowl of oats and this recipe for my banana muffin oatmeal is to die for !!! ↓🅱🅰🅽🅰🅽🅰 🅳🅰🆃🅴 🆁🅰🅸🆂🅸🅽 🅞🅐🅣🅜🅔🅐🅛↓
1/2 a banana
1 cup plant milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large dates
Sprinkle of raisins
➀ In a sauce pan on the stove add the plant milk, vanilla and cinnamon and on a high to medium heat let milk bubble
❷ Turn the heat to low and add the rest of the ingredients. Mash the banana threw the mix
➂ Stir continuously for 7-8 minutes or until your desired oatmeal consistency.
❹ Pour into a bowl and add your favourite toppings. I added banana, peanut butter, raspberries, cacao nibs, coconut and passion fruit. .
