In these times of Instagram, Facebook & non-stop news floating through my twitter stream, it seems nearly impossible to keep up with what’s going on, and I have to remember it’s absolutely ok to step away from it all. Here’s a friendly reminder to just be HERE. .
Life comes at us faster than ever, and it’s up to us to make the most of each & every moment. When I need to slow down & focus, I like to reset my mind on the present by taking a sunny walk with my dog, Vina or by sitting down to meditate. .
It’s been tougher than usual this week and I’ve had a challenging time focusing. So help me out — what’s your favorite way to stay in the moment? #savortonight#ilovewpb#clams
It’s time to talk about The Love Nest!
I met Victoria when she came to a @caitlincanty concert at our farm, @3brothersfarm, last year and saw a hanging installation I made in the barn. She asked if I did wedding flowers and if I would recreate that for her wedding in the woods @campwandawega the next year. Fast forward to the spring and one of our ‘anchor trees’ had been cut down 🤷🏻♀️. And that is when The Love Nest was born. We wanted it to feel like it had been in the woods with things growing on it for years, natural, organic, whimsical, and dream-like.
Victoria and David were married at dusk.
Exactly what fairy tales are made of.
It looks like Sunday industriousness, but it's pretty much all that got accomplished. Gessoed a bunch of cradleboards, and Hubby-bubby helped me hang some supports so that my clematis can grow across the front of the studio. It's going to look SUPER ROMANTIC
Not sure what this clematis is: there used to be a purple-pink one on this fence but this year it is this. Looks more like a Jackmanii perhaps. Happy in the sun, whatever it is! #clematis#mysterious#blueclematis
