A few hand-built pretties coming to the shop 🤩 Bathed in a divinely spiced oatmeal glaze + trimmed with 22k gold. Pictured here is the 8oz and 6oz. Perfect for tea and/or all the pretty things that need collecting ✨
I was invited by @australianceramics to write an article for the current issue of The Journal of Australian Ceramics; EXPLORING SURFACE ✨ I discuss my process of experimentation with glaze and raw materials, and how this process informs the conceptual aspects of my exhibition work. I focus on the two raw materials I work with most and their applications - Rutile and Copper. Its a bit dry and technical (I’m not a writer), but covers a lot of the questions I am asked most frequently... so if that’s you and I’ve not responded (sorry), I suggest you grab a copy! And check out all the other wonderful articles within ❤️👌🏼😍 Thanks again @vickigrima and @australianceramics Photos by the wonderful Victor Marillanca ✨❤️ @vmarillanca
Hoping to get these pieces (and more) fired for a Saturday update but it’s looking more and more like it will be Sunday. Either way, I’ll have a new batch of work available in time for holiday shipping. If you want something by Christmas, orders have to be placed by Monday. If you want first dibs, join my mailing list on my website (link in profile). Have a great day!
