Hrad Bezděz, Doksy, Czech Republic 🇨🇿 We’ve explored this castle before but it’s such an exciting place, let’s explore it again!
Why is it exciting? Well first of all, it’s a castle. And secondly it’s a medieval stronghold, very well preserved.
King Přemysl Otakar II constructed this castle in the 13th century.
Over the centuries it turned into a monastery. This monastery was dissolved in 1785 but this castle still stands. A very good example of medieval architecture!
